Shot at the 32nd Annual Tournament of Bands on November 8th, 2008 at the Kamehameha School's Kunuiakea Athletic Complex in Honolulu, Hawaii. (Try to ignore the people who talk during performances.) Here's an excerpt from that night's program: The Kapolei High School "Hurricane" Marching Band was formed in 2003, four years after the inception of Kapolei High School in 2000. Under the guidance of Director of Bands, Nicholas Alexander and with the assistance of Daryl Agena and Justin Ka'upu, the "Hurricane" band has the reputation as the "Pride of the Westside". The Kapolei Band has "wow'd" spectators with their Themed Shows. From Michael Jackson to West Side Story to last year's "Blues Brothers" to this year's "Earth, Wind and Fire". The Kapolei High School "Hurricane" Marching Band's repertoire: "Earth, Wind and Fire" I: "In the Stone" II: "Getaway/September" III: "After the Love is Gone"
