There's still room to grow! My tune is very conservative also as I thought I would be driving this as a daily driver.. enjoy!

The sound of that downshift at 0:45 is reason enough to be NA. The car is an 8th Gen (06) Si with a stock K20 and open airbox. In a world where true driving enthusiasts are a dying breed, peaky and berserk NA engines like this are becoming scarce in favor of more torquey engines with consequently diluted powerbands. Despite what you may have heard, the only TRUE advantage of this torque-centric engine type is that it lets you go reasonably fast even if you have no idea how to properly extract the power of a manual car (such as with basic heel-toe, attention to RPM while cornering, and even just basic rev-matching when needed). Its easy to say that your engine has 5 liters (or whatever) and therefore doesn't NEED to be peaky. Sure, but you must be willing to make that statement knowing that a peaky 5 liter would make 500hp NA, completely stock. Still married to that low-end? Torquey NA engines sacrifice their full performance potential in order to be easier to drive. Period. Ergo, If you're the kind of person who goes on about how a car with good power still needs torque down low to be fast, you probably just suck at driving. That's all.

The K20 MR-s went out to its first test drive today to check if everything is in good working order. I did not boost the car on this run and since its the first time on the road, it was more like normal driving; short shifting, partial throttle runs. Despite the normal drive and no boost, right away, I noticed a big difference in power compared to the 1zz turbo which was originally on my car. Expect to see more action on the boosted videos coming soon.

The build of my Chevy K20 4WD back in 2002-2003, put to the infamous Johnny Cash song "One Piece At A Time". Final product was a Chevy 4wd 3/4 ton pickup built from choice parts of 3 separate pickups of 3 different model years. Original truck was a rusted-out blue 1979 Chevy K20 3/4 ton pickup. Motor built was a 350 (5.7 liter) Chevy, that was stroked to 383 cu in, with 10.25 to 1 compression ratio, a NP205 bulletproof 4wd transfer case, and a Turbo 400 trans.
