Kyrie, Polyphonic | Mercy in Harmony

Three voices. Three parts. Three colors. score: www.kalamation.com The quality of mercy is not strain'd, It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven Upon the place beneath: it is twice blest; It blesseth him that gives and him that takes: 'Tis mightiest in the mightiest: it becomes The throned monarch better than his crown; His sceptre shows the force of temporal power, The attribute to awe and majesty, Wherein doth sit the dread and fear of kings; But mercy is above this sceptred sway; It is enthroned in the hearts of kings, It is an attribute to God himself; And earthly power doth then show likest God's When mercy seasons justice. Therefore, Jew, Though justice be thy plea, consider this, That, in the course of justice, none of us Should see salvation: we do pray for mercy; And that same prayer doth teach us all to render The deeds of mercy. From Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice. A CD of Christmas music from this recording is available at: www.legionmusic.org

An Arabic Prayer for Divine Mercy

An Arabic prayer for God's Mercy. In the tradition of the Church of Antioch founded by Sts. Paul and Barnabas, whose first bishop was the Apostle Peter. Where the faithful were first called Christians. From the Troparia of Penitence, Ceremony of Forgiveness, Byzantine Worship. Version with Arabic script and transliteration: www.youtube.com There is a brief history of this tradition here: www.melkite.com The first stone cross in the video is from the altar at the ancient Byzantine church on top of Mt. Nebo in Jordan. Another clip from Easter Byzantine chant sung in Arabic and Greek. Chanted by: Father Sleiman Hajjar and Reader Nader Hajjar. A side comment: Please pray to God that He will foil the plans of those pushing us so hard to war. War is about self defense only. Anything else is from the evil one. There is no such thing as pre-emptive war. This is our teaching. It is the natural law and it is common sense. Note. This recording was stolen by DeusVult777 and used in their channel that promotes endless war. Since there is no just principle operating in our present day to justify conflict, this type of behavior is common. The use of religion to flame war. Opt out of the globalist's endless "war on terror". www.zenit.org My hope is the Father; My refuge, the Son; My protection, the Holy Spirit. An Arabic Prayer from the Wilderness

In the Eastern Christian tradition, icons play an important part in the proclamation of the gospel. In homes and in churches they are often near a night candle which flickers and varies the illumination with the movement of air in the room. This video uses candle light to illuminate the icons and the words. It is an attempt to portray a sense of focused light surrounded by darkness, which can represent our Christian hopes surrounded by howling torments and doubts like the wind. The Revelation passage can signify the protection that the Church and kinship with the Theotokos gives the believer and is not necessarily apocalyptic. It could represent any day in the Christian life.

The Divine Liturgy | Jesus Feeds the Multitudes

Why did Jesus, after asking the disciples to assemble and feed the multitudes, then ask them to leave while He dismissed the crowds Himself? A video to remind us to experience Jesus Himself in the meal of the Divine Liturgy. Sung in Arabic and Greek. Note the Psalm passage has different structure in various translations. This one and others are consistent with the voiceless and veiled Presence of Christ in the Liturgy, "a tent for the sun". A teaching of apostolic Christianity in any case. Please pray for the Middle East. Rediscover the Republic | Bring'em Home

A video to promote common sense and the return of our troops against a hijacked foreign policy/media. Original music by Law & Order, used with permission. Warning: Some military footage. Ambush footage is against Blackwater mercenaries. A better perspective on American Patriotism: www.appleseedinfo.org "Of all the enemies to public liberty war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few. In war, too, the discretionary power of the Executive is extended; its influence in dealing out offices, honors, and emoluments is multiplied; and all the means of seducing the minds, are added to those of subduing the force, of the people. [There is also an] inequality of fortunes, and the opportunities of fraud, growing out of a state of war, and degeneracy of manners and of morals. No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare. " James Madison

Arabic Prayer for Holy Week | St Chrysostom Communion Prayer

The communion of the faithful prayer by St. John Chrysostom according to Byzantine Daily Worship, Alleluia Press, 1969, is as follows: Receive me now, O Son of God, as a participant in Your mystical supper: for I will not betray Your mystery to your enemies, nor give You a kiss like Judas, but like the thief, I confess You: remember me, Lord, in Your kingdom. Images: Simon Ushakov's icon of the Mystical Supper Fresco fragment with scene of Judas's betrayal. From the Church of the Holy Virgin, or Red Church, Voulgareli, Arta, Greece. Video footage is from Lebanon, including the Basilica of St. Paul in Harissa. Mountain scene is over the Biqaa valley looking over to Mount Hermon (snow capped). The modern symbol of medicine, a snake hung on a stake, likely has its roots in the Bible in the Book of Numbers (Numbers 21:6). 'Then the LORD sent poisonous serpents among the people, and they bit the people, so that many Israelites died. The people came to Moses and said, "We have sinned by speaking against the LORD and against you; pray to the LORD to take away the serpents from us." So Moses prayed for the people. And the LORD said to Moses, "Make a poisonous serpent, and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten shall look at it and live." So Moses made a serpent of bronze, and put it upon a pole; and whenever a serpent bit someone, that person would look at the serpent of bronze and live.' mainstream media to become internet2?

I made this video because prisonplanet.com is where I get my news and it is starting to be blocked. A message to US Roman Catholics. Please consider the following. In the early 1990's the US Latin Church addressed the so-called "pedophile crisis" with sweeping changes that included actions by John Paul II himself. If the powerful media conglomerates can team up to hide things from people, then they can also team up to attack groups. The reemergence of the "pedophile" crisis occurred during the run-up to the Iraq invasion. Check the dates. This was by design, as evidenced by its timing, the intensity of the attacks, the existence of "pedophile" crises in other groups in much greater numbers (as for example in the US public education system), the Church's formulated just war theory that does not include "preemptive" war, and finally the widespread effect the Latin Church could have on her members. It was designed to put the Church on the defensive. There is no need to give up on the intellectual virtues or common sense, which are part of the faith. The US also has constitutional principles that are compatible with the faith and incompatible with congress passing on its authority to declare war to the executive branch.
