Since graduating from Barnard College in 1963, Ms. Tharp has choreographed more than one hundred and thirty five dances, five Hollywood movies, directed and choreographed four Broadway shows. She received one Tony Award, two Emmy Awards, nineteen honorary doctorates, the Vietnam Veterans of America President's Award, the 2004 National Medal of the Arts, the 2008 Jerome Robbins Prize, a 2008 Kennedy Center Honor. Her many grants include the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthu Fellowship. She is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and an Honorary Member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters. In 1992 Ms. Tharp wrote her autobiography Push Comes to Shove. In 2003 she wrote, The Creative Habit: Learn it and Use it for Life. In 2009 she wrote, The Collaborative Habit: Life Lessons for Working Together both of which were published by Simon and Schuster.

An Austrian by birth, and son of an herbalist, Horst M. Rechelbacher is an active environmentalist, innovative business leader, author, artist, and organic farmer. At age fourteen, Horst began a three-year apprenticeship in the beauty and salon industry. With an award-winning career as a hairstylist, in 1965, he started his own salons and product line called Horst. In 1978, Horst founded Aveda Corporation, a global plant-based cosmetic company. Nearly two decades later, he sold Aveda to Estee Lauder but remained a consultant until March 2003. Afterwards, he focused on his new product paradigm, Intelligent Nutrients, a health and beauty product company, utilizing 100% food-based, non-toxic, harmonically made and organic certified ingredients. Horst has authored four books, Rejuvenation, Aveda Rituals, Alivelihood, and Minding Your Busines. He currently resides in Wisconsin and New York City. Her sleeping bag kept her warm and she thought how perfect this would be for a coat in the winter. Norma went home, cut up her sleeping bag into a coat. Since then we have been selling this coat. Each year we do new colors and different fabrics. The original coat is sold with a sack and the coat is rolled into the bag exactly the way a sleeping bag is stored. It is convenient for storage and transporting.
