Blu Mar Ten - Nobody Here (Kastle remix) - EXCLUSIVE

► j.mp ◄ Blu Mar Ten - Nobody Here (Kastle Remix) - EXCLUSIVE for Panda Drum and Bass TV This summer, Blu Mar Ten follows up the success of their 2009 LP 'Natural History' with a two-part set of remixes that bring together the finest in fresh and established talent from across the globe. DJ support is coming in from right across the scene, including London Elektricity, Friction, Doc Scott, Lynx, John B, Nookie and many more Darling of American dubstep and glitch-breaks, Pittsburgh's Kastle turns in a pathologically infectious dubstep remix of 'Nobody Here'. Completely transforming the original's bassline into a low-slung gangsta slouch and counterpointing it with sparkling new melodies and a full vocal overhaul, Kastle's rework will have you reaching for the 'repeat' button before you know what you're doing. A genuine ear-worm ►BIOGRAPHY◄ Few musical acts can lay claim to such dynamic and consistent evolution as Blu Mar Ten. Formed in the big-bang of 90's drum & bass and regular faces at Rage, Metalheadz, Speed & AWOL, Blu Mar Ten were rapidly spotted by LTJ Bukem and signed to Good Looking Records, cementing their position in the genre as originators of complex, atmospheric music. They quickly grew and mutated beyond the confines of the jungle into lush experimentation with downtempo, ambient, house, breaks, techno & left-field for labels such as Naked Music, Guidance, Big Chill, with two full albums of non-d&b material on Exceptional Records. 92 Eternal - The Feeling (Kastle Remix)

Just... Pure... Vibes This is a new channel devoted to dance music with soul and character. Our first featured tune comes from a new project by New York's AC Slater and Udachi... with a great remix from B.Rich's new, more chilled project called Kastle. The UK Bass scene in the last year is really catching on over in the states right now, and this was a tune I just had to include as the first tune I'd like you all to hear. If you're feeling this release, then please do the decent thing and support the artists in the best way possible. iTunes: itunes.apple.com Amazon: www.amazon.com Juno Download: www.junodownload.com

Richard Kastle - Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 Ending

Can't place the name of the pianist playing the piece in the beginning. Saw it on Google Video. Okay, my subscribers probably don't know what I'm talking about in this video. This is mainly directed at those who have seen the Interview with Richard Kastle where he talks about the ending of Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2, and mikecaffey's comments, as well. I talk about how absurd it is to believe Marc-Andre Hamelin plays this piece wrongly, also. I guess I am overreacting, but what can I say; I'm easily annoyed. There are some images in this video that might be hard to see. Here are the URL's (full-size images): www.music.informatics.indiana.edu img524.imageshack.us fuwatm.hp.infoseek.co.jp ^I made a mistake. This is something from a composer named Finnissy, but my point is still made. i97.photobucket.com Everything else is explained in the video. Buxton-Kastle - Kagie

Issued December 1970 in Canada on RCA Victor 75-1041. Buxton-Kastle was formed in Hamilton, Ontario in the fall of 1970. Members of the first incarnation were Jack Pedler (drums), Bob Johnston (Hammond B3, rhythm guitar), Rick McIsaac (bass), Russ McAllister (lead guitar), David Kastle (electric piano) and Jerry Doucette (working as J. Buxton) (lead vocalist). According to a website, there was also a keyboard playing member named Georgie Fab... if he says he was in the group at the age of 19, he must have been, although his name is not listed anywhere else under band personnel. This does not dispute his involvement, it's just another example of the disorganized state of the documentation of Canadian music history. It must be noted that the lead singer on this record doesn't sound much like Jerry Doucette at all. Trivia: RCA had a Canadian-only number series. Record number 75-1040 was "Dickens" by Leigh Ashford. Even though on the Revolver label, it had an RCA number. "Kagie" follows it in sequence, 75-1041. It is listed in RPM as having charted January 30th 1971, reaching #2 MOR but only #77 pop. The group made this one record for RCA, and two more singles for Reprise in 1972 with a revised lineup. When they were dropped by Reprise, the group disbanded. Drummer Jack Pedler went on to work with Ray Materick, Teenage Head, the Dave Rave Conspiracy and Coyote Shivers. David Kastle would become head of A&R at Acuff-Rose Music in Nashville. Georgie Fab went on to the Terra Nye ...
