Twilight - Jizz in my pants

There're already several of these videos on youtube, but this is my contribution. Even after seeing the other ones I still couldn't fight the urge to make my own.

Captain Sisko yells at everyone

Captain Sisko is damn good at yelling at people, these are some of the best moments. I love Star Trek DS9 and one of many reasons is Avery Brooks. As any fan of the show knows, Sisko is really good at yelling at people and chewing them out. When I was listening to an episode of "The Gamma Quadrant" ( gammaquadrant.libsyn.com ) they mentioned there should be a montage of all Sisko's moments of yelling at people. So this video is especially made for you guys, keep up the good work! Ryan Davis of Giantbomb.com has this theory that Kanye West's song "Power" could score any trailer for anything. I made this Giant Bomb tribute video modeled off of the Forza 4 trailer that originally used the song.

As Seen on TV - a tribute to doing it wrong

Whenever a TV product commercial plays I bust a gut during the parts where they show us what we're doing wrong and why we need the product. This is my tribute to the hilarious work the actors in these infomercials do. I considered editing this to epic music like O Fortuna or Benny Hill being the obvious choice, but settled on "Help!" because I thought it fit better and also musically had more variation which is good for editing punctuations and beats. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Movie Trailer HD

Trailer I made for Metal Gear Solid 4! CRANK IT UP! This trailer took me about a week to do. First I went through the hours of footage searching for good dialogue so that I could get the structure. Then I mined the MGS4 soundtrack for the music (ended up mixing it with MGS2 and MGS3 music for the backend). With the dialogue and music in place I then had to do all that video conversion and editing which definitely took the longest. The structure changed around a lot once I started putting clips in, and also the rhythm was more established. After picture editing was done I went back, fixed the sound mix and added sound effects where needed. Finally I made the graphics to give it that final touch of polish!

Uncharted 2 Fan Trailer

Uncharted 2 is undoubtedly one of my favorite games ever so I had to make a trailer! I thought the official launch trailer for Uncharted 2 was really great and one of the few that made it look like a movie trailer (appropriate to how cinematic the game is). The launch trailer makes it much more of a mysterious looking game with intrigue, but for mine I wanted to highlight the action and humor of the game which are the reasons I love it so much. I've actually been sitting on this in an unfinished state for several months because even though the music to Uncharted 2 is great, there isn't any one piece that had what was needed to finish off a trailer. I really wanted to do this trailer using only Uncharted 2 music, but in the end I decided this trailer needed the best so I ended up using another piece. The music used was: Uncharted 2 OST - "Helicopter and Tank" Uncharted 2 OST - "Bustin' Chops" Uncharted 2 OST - "Brutal Combo Mambo" Children of Dune OST - "Summon the Worms"

Not Every Unique Anime Opening Ever

Music: "Nigeru Mono" by Susumu Hirasawa (Paprika OST) So after making my "Every Anime Opening Ever Made" video there were of course a lot of comments about how unoriginal anime is, but really anime is no less unoriginal than any other form of entertainment. So I decided to make this video dedicated to a small sampling of the most visually unique anime openings I found in my searching. This video in my way implies that the actual series are unique as a show (though many of them are). Of the 47 anime in this list I've only seen an appreciable amount of less than half. There are also many more unique anime openings that I'm sure you'll put in the comments (assuming you're even reading this), but this is just what I selected for my video. Anime in this video include: Ayakashi - Samurai Horror Tales Bakemonogatari Big O* Black Lagoon* Casshern Sins Cowboy Bebop* Eden of the East Ef a Tale of Melodies Elfen Lied Ergo Proxy Gankutsuou Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex GTO* Gunslinger Girl Gunsmith Cats Honey and Clover House of FIve Leaves Kaiba Kure-nai Le Chevalier D'Eon Maria Holic Michiko to Hatchin Monster* Moyashimon - Tales of Agriculture* Mushishi Nodame Cantabile Nodame Catabile Paris-Hen Pani Poni Dashi Paradise Kiss* Paranoia Agent* Phoenix* Planetes Red Garden Requiem From the Darkness Rideback Saikano Samurai Champloo Samurai Gun Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei* Serial Experiments Lain* Shigurui Tatami Galaxy The Twelve Kingdoms* Tokyo Magnitude 8 Welcome to the NHK ...

Two Weeks in Japan 2010

Our Japan 2010 photos, inspired by the "This is Japan!" video by Eric Testroete (vimeo.com Music from Okami OST. Tested.com motion graphic practice

My alternate recreation of the intro graphic from Tested.com I wanted a project so I could practice some more After Effects so I thought I'd try to recreate the motion graphic from Tested.com. In the process I decided to put my own spin on it just for fun. The logo and text were done in illustrator (I was also practicing Illustrator) so the font isn't exactly the same, but pretty close.

Anime Opening Clichés

These things happen so often in anime openings, it's not even funny anymore. I was originally inspired by kickintheheadcomic who made this video: www.youtube.com BUT, it didn't have Pokémon featured in it, and I also wanted to make an original unique one for my favorite forum website. The Dream Machine Trailer (Unofficial)

www.thedreammachine.se http The Dream Machine is a browser based point & click adventure game made out of clay and cardboard. Currently only two chapters are available to play, but chapter 3 should be coming out sometime Spring 2011. The first chapter can be played for free on the website. Read my review of Chapters 1 & 2 here! bit.ly I made this trailer because I love how unique and immersive the experience is (and I like point & click adventure games). I hope more people will find out about it because it's clearly a labor of love and deserves more attention. In my trailer I really wanted to try to capture the sense of mystery in the game. This was helped in no small part by the music which is very minimalist but really sets the mood. I tried to tease some images but still avoid spoilers as much as possible. I edited this in Final Cut Pro after using the screen capturing software Snapz Pro X and After Effects to resize the footage to 16X9. The actual game has more of a 4X3 aspect ratio with the inventory up top and some highlight buttons on the bottom. I cut those out so that it would fill the screen and also not be distracting. For my titles I did my best to replicate the motion graphics from the game using After Effects. I covered up certain parts of the game interface like object highlights so that they wouldn't be distracting. If you've played the game you'll notice there are other things I covered up to avoid bigger spoilers.
