All data was measured and collected by a third party with the officially accepted Racelogic VBox performance recorder. The Records truly show the Agera Rs phenomenal stability, acceleration and braking performance - and that presently its performance is in a leauge of its own. All results will be submitted to the Guinness Book of Records. This is a quick video to describe the unique door system on the Koenigsegg cars. The door system, formally known as the dihedral synchro-helix actuation system, was actually designed by Mr Christian Von Koenigsegg himself I learned when I met him earlier in the year in London. Koenigsegg Agera R - On the road
One of the first shots of the Agera R on public roads! - The Agera R has all the features and functionalities of the Agera, but also features a few more unique solutions to further enhance performance even further. The Agera R has an upgraded fuel and engine management system that has enough flow capacity to generate 1115 hp and 1200 nm of torque on E85 and E100 bio fuel. As there is less energy content per given volume in these bio fuels compared to normal petrol, the fuel-system has to manage a flow that is similar to 2000 petrol hp, which means that the return less fuel system of the Agera R has the highest capacity of any car presently in production. Let me first say, this is not a very 'serious' video haha, only had about 5 minutes to check out the car before we had to head off for a Lambo drive, the lighting was horrible, we were all talking and laughing...but I couldn't pass up the opportunity of taking some video of the CCX. Video shows the exterior, the dihedral synchro-helix actuation doors, the interior, the key, wheel, a start up with two very small blips, etc. It's 806bhp twin-supercharged V8 sounds great at cold start!
