"Stor i Japan" (Big in Japan) was a Swedish tv-show that aired in the fall of 2008. Two guys (Jens & Sebastian) were sent to Japan to become famous in one month. In the last episode they got to meet His Excellency.... I put on english subtitles to the Swedish parts, you it would be easier to follow ^^ ALSO! Obviously, I have waaay too much free time. *snerk* Seriously though, this turned out quite nice (if I do say so myself). The title pretty much says it all, but keep in mind that Toshi & Demon Kogure are PLUSHIES that I own. :D This was made entirely in Windows Movie Maker using a LOT of pictures and a couple of short video clips. I think it took me probably a week to finish, but that's including all the planning I did. Feedback, anyone? ^^
MEET YOKO KOGURE Yoko Kogure was born and raised in Southern California and has been a part of the dance community for the past 7 years. After watching Culture Shock San Diego's Choreographer's Showcase in 2003, she sparked an interest in Hip Hop dance. Her passion for dancing grew after taking Beginning Hip Hop classes under JP San Pedro at Soka University of America and joining the university's dance team, Rhythmission. After graduating college, Yoko has danced with CSULB's Pac Modern and Boogiezone's professional Hip Hop team, BREED Dance Company. She recently performed at the Choreographer's Carnival with ENCORE founded by Audrey Benson. Yoko also dances with Philup Carioso's Movement Project. Currently, she is the Company Director of Culture Shock LA and continues to contribute her artistic and leadership skills. Her life motto is to create value in society and bring positivity and energy wherever she goes! MEET KEN MATSUTSURU Ken Matsutsuru is from Japan and isquickly becoming recognized in the Los Angeles hip hop dance community and industry Before arriving in LA, he worked as the Dance Trainer and Choreographer for Thailand's popular TV show, "True Academy Fantasia Season5." In LA, he has appeared in numerous shows, including Los Angeles Choreographer's Carnival. He has worked with choreographers Gigi Torres, Isaac Tualaulelei, Arlene Yuan and Phlex.
