WARNING! This video is BORING for anyone OTHER than Distributors and Value Added Resellers (VARS) that want to save time and money on installation time for Android and their applications on the Openmoko FreeRunner phone. This video is also of interest to distributors and VARs that are not familiar with the Linux operating system, since it shows how to install Android on the FreeRunner without using Linux. This is a real-time demonstration of the installation and initial boot of the software through the use of the MicroSD card, able to be performed using Microsoft Windows, Apple OS/X and (of course) GNU/Linux.

OpenAudience - Audio Immersion Software Controlled by Openmoko FreeRunner phone
OpenAudience allows you to listen to audio as if you were inside the audio itself. If you have multiple microphones recording the audio (perhaps in an orchestra or on a sound stage) you can "arrange" the microphones virtually to where you are, or move yourself virtually inside the sound scene. You can also apply different codecs to the sound. This video demonstrates the control interface that was ported to an Openmoko FreeRunner (www.openmoko.org) phone. Software was created at the University of Sao Paulo, Brasil as an open, collaborative project by Dr. Regis Rossi A. Booting Android On Openmoko FreeRunner Phone
This video shows the speed at which Android boots on the Openmoko FreeRunner phone. The Koolu engineers improved the boot time from over two minutes to 51 seconds. In addition, they make the Android system run out of NAND memory, and loadable off a FAT-formatted MicroSD card, so systems other than Linux can also populate the MicroSD card and install the phone. These are truly value-added features which help the Android/FreeRunner community in addition to hosting the source code repository and building the system binaries.
