we have been doing Japanese Dance for two months, and as it was our last lesson today, we had a little performance. This is the first dance we learned, (beginning cut off), 'Kotobuki' Kotobuki is a celebratory dance, which, according to my dance teacher, is common for weddings. The first part is cut off, but it is to symbolize the tortise and the crane, symbols of luck. when the fan is thrust straight upwards, this symbolizes a tree (matsu), and the following part, where we turn around and have the fan under our elbows symbolizes bamboo (take). In the following part, the fan is flipped closed over and over, like a rope pulling the audience to us. then the finger and the the fan each symbolize two people coming together. It's difficult to explain in depth ^_^;

Tsumugi, known as Mugi is one of the main characters of K-ON! plays the keyboard in the Light Music Club, and is even considered a piano prodigy. Anyways, she is one of my favourite characters. Kotobuki Shiki Sanbaso 寿式三番叟Bunraku Puppet (funny)
This was performed by Bunraku Bay at the 2009 St. Louis Japanese Festival in the Missouri Botanical Garden. In this Clip the puppet interacts with people in the audience, it is really funny. Taken from Bunraku Bay's Website: Kotobuki Shiki Sanbaso 寿式三番叟. A celebratory dance piece of divinely-inspired puppetry that originated in masked Noh drama, the Sanbaso is meant to who purify the theater and scatter good fortune on the audience with lively gestures that mimic the planting of rice and also suggest felicitous creatures like turtles and cranes. But the piece also includes comedy because even a puppet charged with the solemn task of blessing a venue sometimes gets tired and needs to cool off after a taxing turn on the stage. The Sanbaso opens every Bunraku Bay performance.

Hola que tal amigos como estan? Bueno despues de desaparecerme un rato y no poner aporte la semana pasada ya estoy de vueta, lo qe pasa es que lo del servicio social y luego la escuea no me da tiempo para avanzar en el tema o de siquiera ver anime XP. Aveces entro de 7am a 8pm y pues me queda muy poco tiempo para siquiera cenar xx y otors dias un poco mas alivianado de 10am a 8pm Pufff..... Bueno y los fnes de semana trabajo menos tiempo para todo XP, y despues el puente en ves de disfrutarlo me quede enfermo en casa con calentura XD.
