Air Asia X - Departing Kuala Lumpur for London-Stansted
Punctual morning departure from KLIA bound for Stansted (1 April 2009) onboard their first A340-313X named 'Xcalibur' and registered 9M-XAB - heading North overflying Penang, Langkawi and Phuket before I slumbered down to a snore on a rather comfortable XL seat for the duration of the flight. This flight will go daily soon and Air Asia X is taking delivery of their second A340 which has already been painted in a special "Oakland Raiders" livery.

9 maja 2010r. studenci Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego stworzyli oryginalny teledysk do utworu "Don't stop me now" zespołu Queen. Zdjęcia trwały 5 godzin. W nagraniu wzięło udział przeszło 140 osób. Nagłośnione zostały dwa gmachy uczelni - Gmach Główny oraz Collegium Norwidianum. My Music Cube ( 3D RGB color LED Cube 8x8x8 )
This is my first try to get something out of my 8x8x8 RGB LED cube. I build the cube using a pre-release version of a kit from hypnocube.com. That required soldering more than 500 LED's (that is 57 times more than for the popular 3x3x3 cube but less than the impressive monochrome 10 x 10 x 10 cube ( www.youtube.com )) as regular as possible. The nice black case (hard to see in the video) needed precise holes for the wires, so I did that in our local FABLAB (www.fablabgroningen.nl The music comes from Kevin Macleod (CC license, incompetech.com). The raw data comes from 3dleds.com. I converted their data to images and imported those in adobe premiere. There I could mix them any way I liked and change the colors. Next step was to render the result back to images and convert it back to a format I could send to my cube using my own tiny little program. What didn't work very well is to record the movie using my photocamera. When making movies all settings are on automatic, causing the leds to be overexposed. JAM Magazine Editor, Michael Insuaste interviews Dallas soul rock band The Kul during SXSW in Austin Texas March 19, 2011. The Kul is a soulful rock and roll band with a unique sound that comes out of the depths of the Dallas music scene. This conversation took place around 11:30 pm on the patio of Jovita's in Austin Texas. The Kul played their set earlier that evening at Casa De Los Muertos but was cut short by the Austin Police for over exceeding the decibel limit.
