
All credit goes to Geetha Akka, without her I wouldn't have seen other than office/ hotel during my Jun 2010 US trip... After my graduation, joined a driving school in India (Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu). End of 9th class, I got placed in Motorola & had to join immediately. With some gut feeling, opted for driving test & by "God's Grace & Every one's Prayer", got Driving Licence by Mar 2004. Never driven any car after Mar 2004. But after landing San Jose by May 2010, got opportunity to driver car & it's not an option. To go to office/ shopping, no one knows driving (among my trip mates), except me (even I don't know driving, but others don't know this secret :)). May 2010: Out of compulsion & again with gut feeling, rented a Toyota Camry from Hertz (which is four building/ 300 meters apart). After collecting the key, successfully started the car, located gear, identified break but couldn't find clutch. Even though I attended only 9 driving classes (in my life time), that too six years ago (by 2004), I know that cars have clutch & need to hold it before putting gear. While this thought is running on back of my head, kept increasing the accelerator. With that noise, the hertz show room guy started staring at me. Situation become too bad that, I can't ask him "Where's the clutch", also I can't keep the car in front of the showroom for long time (else they will collect the car back, by finding the truth about my driving expertise :)). Decided to change the gear (Neutral to 1st <b>...</b>
