LOS ANGELES' BACKSIDE: LA River Graffiti removal panorama

I see this different view of the LA River every time I take the train back from SD. I finally got a decent HD cam so I filmed this train track panorama. Starting at E. 23rd ST. and going north for 4 and a half minutes before the train peels west and heads for Union Station just north of E. Cesar Chavez Ave. Millions of tax dollars were spent as part of the federal stimulus projecting, giving jobs to many workers to systematically eliminate every single piece of graffiti in the Metro LA river. --------- "On September 1, 2009 federal stimulus money was used by the Army Corps of Engineers to buff the Los Angeles River of graffiti. In doing so, they white washed an important part of LA's artistic history. " Piper Severance / SEPTEMBER 9TH, 2009
