PLEASE READ: I've bee suffering from lag spikes on BFBC2 for a few months now, and I've looked everywhere for a solution to try and stop it. I've tried all of them, and none of them fixed it (Lowering settings,playing with sound off, WMAP off, etc.) I've recently installed half life 2 on this computer as well, and the exact same thing began to happen. I've been looking for my own solution ever since, and finally came to this one. I havent seen in anywhere so I thought it would be worth putting it up. I'm not sure if this will work for anyone, so some feedback would be appreciated.

News: As off 14.6.2011 the LSOD has been officially fixed...at least for me. Go, find it here... www.minecraftforum.net This video shows the very annoying and frequent accuring lag spike in Minecraft 1.6.5 Vanilla. The game acts like having a heartbeat and every heartbeat interrupts the game process for a second. It also shows how the game acts with version 1.5.1. I've recorded the video with Fraps, this lowers the FPS to around 30. I usually get around 80-90 FPS in Vanilla 1.5.1, around 60 FPS in a strongly modded 1.5.1 and less then 45 in Vanilla 1.6.5. I can't even think about using mods in 1.6.5, cause the game won't even run smoothly without mods. Athlon 64 XP 2 6000+ ~ 2x3.06 Ghz Nvidia 9600 GT 3 GB RAM Windows XP SP3

Starting with Minecraft Beta 1.6, a chunk loading problem known by many as the "Lag Spike of Death" causes the game to freeze for about 1 second very frequently while the player is moving. This has not been fixed as of today. No mod will completely get rid of it. There are some that help make it less noticable, but nobody has found anything to make it go away completely. I won't even go into all of the other ways that the Minecraft renderer sucks. NOTCH: PLEASE FIX!

Lag switch used or random lag spike?!?!? I don't know but this match pissed me off. I had 5 bar green connection with this player. Near the 1/2 way point of final round, there was a HUGE SPIKE IN LAG starting at 2:13 you can see from the video itself EVERYTHING SLOWED DOWN and my opponent started JUMPING BACKWARDS and FIREBALL SPAM until the end which was COMPLETELY different from his initial tactic (Aggressive Akuma).
