Riding with Lance Armstrong!
Caught up with Lance during the Harpeth River Ride on June 11, 2011. I found him along the route as he came through College Grove, TN—the place I call home. It was unreal...I could hardly believe I was biking in a ~12-person pelaton with the 7-time Tour de France winner. I rode with them for about 8 miles before I had to turn around...had to go to work a little later :( (Last time I joined a race impromptu, I ended up 35 miles from home, which makes for a long ride back.) But I'll never forget the day I spent time in the saddle right next to Lance. Livestrong!
