I don't know if this Gallardo has a aftermarket exhaust system or if the valves has been removed. One thing is certain; this Gallardo sounds awesome! First you see him arriving at the ''Maarten Memorial'', than you hear him start up and drive away. Than you hear a very nice rev, and again a start up and drive away. I usually dislike stock LP560s but this one is incredible, all Gallardos should have this exhaust! This is a sound sample for the new system. It sounds really good, but unfortunately is way too loud to be street legal in our country. I had to go back to the stock rear box, to quiet it down. Unfortunately this made the car loose the beautiful tone, and I'm considering taking off the header to make it quieter and reinstalling the larini rear box to get the tone back. HUGE acceleration by this awesome LP560-4... I think it has Larini exhausts as it was very loud! I heard it a few times round by Harrods, accelerating between gaps in traffic, then a big gap opened up and he just went for it, such a nice sound! Then parked up in an NCP carpark. This video is a comparison video from both before and after the fitment of my Larini exhaust system to my Vauxhall VX220 Turbo. BEFORE: standard exhaust, modded airbox, itg filter, enlarged plenum, pro-alloy intake pipe and MMG underdriven pulley; AFTER: all of the above (minus exhaust) plus a full Larini system (de-cat turbo down pipe, secondary sports cat and rear silencer)! The car is yet to have a remap to Stage 2 (will be taking it to Courtnays as soon as I can for that) and so, from what i've been told, the exhaust note will become slightly more aggressive and it will pop/bang between gear changes when chasing the redline (after the map). The exhaust has done around 650 miles and has therefore had a chance to soot-up. It is alot louder in the flesh than in the video and sounds a dream from the outside (can also clearly hear the audible 'swoosh' of the turbo) - whilst still being fairly quiet on the inside. MY2005 Quattroporte base grade, compares factory to Larini X-pipe installation. Tail pipes remain factory so not as much of a difference but this was what I was looking for given living in a fairly quiet (and crowded) neighborhood.
