Das österreichische Saxophonquartett 4 Saxess spielt den 1. Satz aus dem Brandenburgischen Konzert, BWV 1048. Wolfgang Liebhart hat dieses Konzert für 4 Saxess und Klavier arrangiert. Am Klavier ist Stefan Schön zu hören. Die Brandenburgischen Konzerte sind eine Sammlung von sechs Konzerten, die Johann Sebastian Bach im März 1721 an den Markgrafen Christian Ludwig von Brandenburg-Schwedt sandte. Der Originaltitel lautet „Six Concerts avec plusieurs instruments". Die Konzerte wurden nicht etwa aus diesem Anlass komponiert, sondern von Bach aus vorhandenen Partituren zusammengestellt. In Besetzung, Umfang und Charakter weisen die Werke große Unterschiede auf. Das Dritte Konzert, BWV 1048, steht in G-Dur und ist im Original für eine reine Streicherbesetzung geschrieben.
