I know, I know. Everyone and their dog has already got their own Dramatic Reading of this magnificently bad piece of fanfiction, but they make it look like so much fun that I couldn't resist. It took me about fifteen minutes and was 31 flavours of fun, despite the horribly incestuous/paedophiliac undertones of the story. Try to legolas by laura drinking game: every time she says "meanwhile" or "mean while", take a drink. Or, if you want to try to Alcoholics' Version, drink on every "and then". **READ FIRST** FIrst of all, I will tell you all ahead of time that this has a Legolas/Arwen pairing, but I figured since it mostly revolves around Legolas/Eowyn I'd name as it is. DEDICATED TO SPIRITOFTHEHORSE14!!!! STORYLINE: There is a lot of trouble in Rohan with the King under a spell and Eomer getting banished, Eowyn begins to lose hope. Until the day she meets an elf who brings hope back into her life. Legolas and Eowyn become good friends fast and the Shield Maiden can't help but begin to fall in love with her savior. He coaches her through the hard times and is always there. Legolas begins to notice Eowyn's attraction towards him and worries. First, he knew it wouldn't be accepted if they had a Mortal/Elven relationship. Secondly, there was the contridiction of Arwen coming into the picture. Legolas and the Evenstar were happily arranged to be married and he cared no more for Eowyn than a dear friend. So with a heavy heart, he explains to her the matter of the situation and that he does no love her. Meanwhile, Arwen sees what is happening while riding in the woods. Her father told her there would be nothing but happiness in her new marriage. Not wanting to force Legolas into a marriage when he loved another was not what Arwen wanted, even though it would hurt to lose him. Feeling betrayed, she goes back to her father and confronts him about it. He unwillingly admits to seeing it and she asks him if that is where Legolas' path will lead. Elrond tells her the truth <b>...</b>

A tribute to Lord of the Rings and Aragorn and Legolas. This video was inspired by the excellent 'Hungry Eyes' montages on here, and is entirely gratuitous - lots of slow motion shots and lingering looks from our heroes. Couldn't resist I'm afraid. Also includes a plenty of Aragorn and Legolas doing what they do best, kicking ass. I am quite aware that this interpretation of A and L's relationship is nothing like Tolkien's portrayal in 'The Lord of The Rings'. However, I very much enjoy Peter Jackson's take on their friendship in the movies, even if I have manipulated it a bit here! Music is 'Promentory', by Trevor Jones, and I thought the Celtic theme fit the mood of LOTR well. Anyway, hope you enjoy. It was fun to make. :-) It is mildly slashy, so if that isn't your cup of tea, pick another vid to watch.

This video is about friendship of Legolas and Aragorn. They went together through many deadly perils and fought side by side against many foes and were ready to give their lives for each other. Then the days of peace have come, and Aragorn wedded Arwen, and Legolas realizes that it is the end of their friendship as it was when they were always together and never parted. But true friendship cannot be ended by death itself. So when Aragorn dies Legolas also leaves Hither Shores and passes into the west to follow his friend.
