Minor Earth Major Sky er det sjette studioalbumet til den norske popgruppen a-ha. Albumet var det første etter en pause på syv år. Det ble utgitt 17. juli 2000. Terry Slater, a-ha sin mangeårige manager, var nå erstattet med Brian Lane og Bandana Management. Albumet gitt til topps på albumlistene i Tyskland og Norge, 3. plass i Sveits, 4. plass i Østerrike, 7. plass i Ungarn, og en 27. plass i Storbritannia. Den solgte til platinaplate i Tyskland, og til gullplate i Sveits. Albumet lå på VG-lista i 23 uker med 1. plass som beste plassering. Singlen til «Summer Moved On» fikk gode listeplasseringer i Europa, og lå på VG-lista i seks uker, med 1. plass som beste plassering. Totalt solgte albumet 2.75 millioner kopier internasjonalt. På sporet «Summer Moved On» har Morten Harket verdensrekord på å holde en og samme tone, i hele 20.2 sekunder. «Velvet» er en nyinnspilling, og var egentlig laget og utgitt for Savoy. For å promotere albumet reiste bandet ut på Minor Earth Major Sky Tour 2000 - 2001. Den startet i Japan 8. november 2000, og endte 11. desember 2001 på Nobels fredspriskonsert.
