Jason Lezak saved the dream not once, but twice for Team USA and teammate Michael Phelps. On August 11th 2008, Jason anchored the historic 4x100m Men's Medley Relay team in a come-from-behind victory over the French, with the fastest 100 relay split ever (46.06). Jason Lezak's powerful clutch performance kept Michael Phelps' quest for eight gold medals alive, and helped the relay team shatter the world record. On August 17th Jason Lezak once again dominated the last leg of the 4x100m Men's Medley Relay, winning the gold for his USA team and securing Phelps' record setting 8th gold medal. The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games proved that Jason Lezak is definitely a team player. Jason Lezak grew up in Southern California and enjoyed all sports as a kid. He began swimming at the age of 5 and grew up to become an All-American in Water-Polo. Jason Lezak also played on his high school basketball team and is considered one of the most athletic and energetic personalities in the sport of swimming. Virtually unknown in the swimming world until 1998, Jason Lezak lit up the US Nationals that year, winning his first National Title in the 100 Freestyle...and that was only the beginning. Jason went on to win a Gold and Silver Medal at the 2000 Olympic Games. In 2002, Jason Lezak dominated his opponents, becoming the #1 ranked sprinter in the world. At the 2004 Olympics, Jason took the Bronze in the 4x100m freestyle and the Gold Medal in a world record-breaking swim in the 4 x 100m medley <b>...</b>
