He was born in the village of Aksay, Khasavyurt district. He received his musical education, then engaged in teaching activities. His first song, "Aksay Waltz" which was written in 1958 and gained rapid and widespread in Dagestan and beyond. Creativity and talent of George Ismakov marked a high award of the Government of Dagestan - was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of Russia". In the village of Aksay numerically dominated Kumyk nationality, which belongs to the Turkic language group. Even in his early years George wrote the song "Aksay Waltz" on Kumyk language that speaks perfect. This product was very rapid and widespread in Dagestan and beyond. His life was happy and long, it continues to be heard and to this day. In his younger years the composer participated in the raion and national song contest and repeatedly won prizes. As a result, his entire way of life continued, he decided to devote the art of music. After immigrating to Israel, the composer, without compromising the creative activity, continued to create. Amazing Lezginka Dance
Lezginka or Lezghinka is a national dance of many people in the Caucasus Mountains. It derives its names from the Lezgin people; nevertheless, Chechens, Lezghins, Ossetians, Circassians, Karachays, Balkars, Abkhazians, Kabardins, Ingush, Georgians, Ingilos, Azerbaijanis, Iranian Azerbaijan, Mountain Jews, the Russian Kuban and Terek Cossacks and the various ethnicities of Dagestan have their own versions. Lezginka can be a solo, couple or group dance. Men and women are dressed in traditional costumes (image); men wear a sword adorned on their side and women in long, flowing dresses. The man, imitating an eagle, dances in quick, concise steps; falling to his knees and leaping up quickly. The woman dances quietly, taking light, small steps—giving the appearance of her floating around the floor. When the dance is performed in pairs, the couples do not touch; the woman acknowledges the man, and dances discreetly about him.

Lezginka, Şeyh Şamil
Imam Shamil was born in 1797, in the small village (aul) of Gimry, which is in current-day Dagestan, Russia. He was originally named Ali, but following local tradition, his name was changed when he became ill. His father, Dengau, was a free landlord, and this position allowed Shamil and his close friend Ghazi Mollah to study many subjects including Arabic and logic. Shamil established himself as a well-respected and educated man of Quran and Sunnah among other Muslims of the Caucasus. Shamil was born at a time when the Russian Empire was expanding into the territories of the Ottoman Empire and Persia (see Russo-Persian War (1804-1813) and Russo-Turkish War (1806--1812)). Following the Russian invasion, many Caucasian nations united in resistance to harsh Tsarist rule in what became known as the Caucasian War. Some of the earlier leaders of Caucasian resistance were Sheikh Mansur and Ghazi Mollah. Shamil was actually childhood friends with the Mollah, and would become his disciple and counsellor. In 1832, Ghazi Mollah died at the battle of Gimry, and Shamil was one of only two Murids to escape, but he sustained severe wounds. He went into hiding and both Russians and Murids assumed him dead. Once recovered, he emerged out of hiding and rejoined the murids, led by the third Imam, Gamzat-bek. When the latter was murdered by Hadji Murad in 1834, Shamil took his place as the premier leader of the Caucasian resistance and the third Imam of the Caucasian Imamate. In 1839 (June <b>...</b>
