We think that it sounds a lot like a Carrera GT, and whatever you think of the LFA, you surely can't deny that it sounds pretty special...
driving the Lexus LF-A!
Had an incredible opportunity to drive the Lexus LF-A at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet IL yesterday. The car is out of this world - it doesn't feel like it was made on Earth. As you can see in the video it revs freely and easily and so its easy to hit the rev-limiter! I want one. I'm a bit speechless at the end and having trouble forming words, that's what's going on there. :) btw this video is with the windows closed... the car has technology that pipes the noise of the engine into the passenger compartment and noise-canceling to get rid of unwanted external interference. how f*cking cool is that. It's my understanding that this is one of the first videos of a production model LF-A being driven at a track (source: ClubLexus.com). This Lexus LF-A showed up at a Caffeine and Octane meet. The chassis # is 003, and it's the first Lexus LF-A delivered to a customer anywhere in the world (#s 1 and 2 are with the Toyoda family). The drive to the meet was only the 2nd time he'd driven it since he brought it home, which was just the day before this was shot.
