Light Bike 101 is about the game (Iphone app) based off the Tron movie light cycle scene. This video will teach you the basics of "LightBike Online" made by Pankaku. This video has 3 parts. Part one is general tips. Part two is examples of the different openings and some basic strategies to counter them. The last part shows some high quality long games. I put a lot of effort and time into making this tutorial, hope you enjoy it. This video was recorded with a Lumix GH1 while my Iphone was taped to my desk to prevent if from moving. Also this video took 2 hours to render on a quad core Phenom system! Probably because of all the generated text and light effects in the video. Music from the iphone game "Light Bike online" + a bunch of screen shots I took while playing the game. Most of the screen shots I took because the name was funny/rude/leavers ETC. Comments welcome, especially from fellow Light Bike players. For those who don't know what Light Bike is, there are lots of other video reviewing Light Bike but most are old, outdated and boring... Just read this, you'll know more and it will be faster. Light Bike is a game for the Iphone/Ipod, based off the Tron arcade game light cycle scene. Left, Right and Boost are all the commands. But the game's simple design conceals the strategic complexity the game offers. LightBike player Wigwam described the game best "If you are looking for a classic/terrific game then congratulations: LightBike is easy to lean and immediately exciting, and as you go a little deeper you also see that LightBike is an unusually elegant game about space and manipulation, patience and nerve, thoughtful planning and fast-twitch improvisation, self-control and creative aggression." Light Bike history: 1st release you could only play the computer and other players locally (no internet). Then Internet play was added but lag was a real problem. Players soon figured out that if you quit right as you lost the 3rd round you wouldn't lose any points. Even thou the player with less points would only lose a single point, virtually everyone but a handful of players would always leave. The name "leavers" was coined and it was <b>...</b>

LightBike For iPhone/iPod Touch Brings The TRON Goodness
In this video, I review a game called LightBike for iPhone and iPod Touch. It is available for $0.99 for a limited time but has a regular price of $2.99. LightBike supports 1 or 2 players on a single device or Wifi mode on multiple devices on a LAN. The folks behind LightBike claim that they will be bringing internet support soon. Controls are fairly simple for LightBike: You tap the left and right sides of the screen to move in either direction and you tap the middle of the screen to accelerate. The gameplay is responsive and works as advertised. I can imagine a really fun experience once internet play is added. I recommend LightBike for all you TRON fans, but it can also be a great experience for those who have never heard of TRON. Take care!

This video is simply a collaboration of lightbike photos that I took. If you are a beginner then hopefully this video will give you an idea on some strategies that you can use. This account is exclusively for lightbike related videos. I will be releasing more videos with more specific topics such as strategies. If you don't know what Lightbike is then check out the free version from the app store. If you like it then consider the full version. (the free version only lets you play online 3 times a day so you won't get into the top 20) It's lots of fun and by far the most played game on my iPod. If you have the free version, there is a way to play more than 3 times a day. If you delete lightbike free and re-install it, then you can play 3 more times. Your account information will be saved. Also, if you need to restore your ipod don't worry, your account will be saved and you can continue where you left off. I know from experience. At about 1500 points I restored my ipod and my account was still there when I got the app back. Tutorial - Dynamic Tron Lightcycle Trail in Cinema 4D
Combining ideas from my original Tron Lightcycle animation and adapting a 3DS Max technique from this tutorial (www.youtube.com from m0n0RAIL, I was able to create a dynamic lightcycle trail using Cinema 4D's Mograph. I used Cinema 4D 12 for this tutorial but this should work in 11.5 or any Cinema 4D with the Mograph module. Here are links to my (crappy) lightcycle model :) **I've removed the links to the models because I'm going through a website hosting change right now. I'll put them back up when I find another home.**

Time Taken: 2 hours Software: 3ds Max Technique: Poly Modeling Purpose: to see how far I can get in 2 hours. CCs are more than welcome. If you think there could have been a better techniques by all means share. We can all learn. Poly boost and tools from Max 2010 and on would have sped up the process but you work with what you have.

In this video most of the screen shots just show sky, but i made a careless mistake and lost my user name!( I'm laughing about it now) This is one of those games where it's fairly easy to get in the top 20, but hard to stay in the top 20. I should know, this is like the only game i've played in which I'm way up in the leader boards! LightBike online is a 3D game for the Iphone in which you drive your LightBike, which builds walls of light on your track, and beat enemies in cyberspace. (as explained in appstore) If you have this app, and don't play online, then your missing out! One of the main reasons to get this app is because of online. In my Opinion, this is the best competitive online game in the app store, and its oppose to be updated soon with huge new features.... Review of Ultra Light Bike Mirror by D+D Oberlauda
Ultra Light BIke Mirror by D+D Oberlauda. Made in Germany. About $25US This is a very light cycling mirror with mutliple mounting possibilities due to its flexible mounting system. Because it is so light, vibration is kept to a minimum. Adjustment is easily accomplished by a ball and joint which makes manual adjustment very easy. Installation is a breeze. The mirror surface is convex which causes distortion of the field of view making judging distance a bit difficult. But it does fulfill its main purpose of letting you know of approaching traffic. Of the many mirrors I've tried, I like this very much.
