Kristin Chenoweth in Stranger Than Fiction 1

Deleted scenes from Stranger Than Fiction, featuring Kristin Chenoweth. Her role in the movie was extremely small (she was only seen on a television screen in the background, as far as I recall), but originally, her character had a slightly greater role, as you can see in these deleted scenes. Apologies for it being a little out-of-sync; the audio & video matched up fine when I uploaded it - I'll try to fix it later today.

Wyschnegradsky - Two Preludes

Two Preludes Op. 2 (1916) Ivan Wyschnegradsky (1893-1979) is typically acknowledged as a microtonal composer who spent most of his creative life in Paris and Germany developing his theories and "ultrachromatic scales." Before his emigration to Paris in 1920, he studied composition at the St. Petersburg Conservatory and became an avant-garde composer. Wyschnegradsky was clearly a disciple of Scriabin's music. He actually experienced something like an epiphany after hearing Scriabin's works and thereafter became a mystic, abandoned his Wagnerian approach to music, and emulated the "scriabinesque." His early orchestral work "The Journey of Existence" owes much to Scriabin's "Poem of Ecstasy". Unfortunately, Wyschnegradsky wrote only a few piano pieces including these two preludes during his youth in Russia. He was more interested in pursuing quarter-tone composition and even had Scriabin-like visions that this kind of music would push mankind to the next step in evolution. Composers like Messiaen and Boulez appreciated and performed his microtonal music, but there is virtually no interest in Wyschnegradsky today.

Maya is to be seen through, like an epiphany, in order to achieve liberation of the soul. Ego-consciousness and karma are seen as part of the binding forces of Maya. Maya may be understood as the phenomenal Universe of perceived duality, a lesser reality-lens superimposed on Brahman (unity).
Jutze - Hank Green Learned a New Chord

This is a song about F-sharp minor. Lyrics: It was Wednesday the 21st Hank played a tune on his guitar There on the vlogbrothers channel I almost couldn't believe what I saw It was like an epiphany Though the part was rather short It was plain for all to see Hank Green learned a new chord Until that day I had always thought That Hank was a Horcrux of punk A way to keep the lore of the three chord songs Safe from boy-groups and funk It was like an epiphany Though the part was rather short It was plain for all to see Hank Green learned a new chord Is he about to make the transition from wizard rock To Slytherin Jazz for the Dark Lord? David Lynch Interviews Moby (Music & Creativity)

davidlynchfoundation.org David Lynch, founder of the David Lynch Foundation interviews Moby about music and creativity. This interview took place in New York, at Radio City Hall. Two minute transcription David Lynch: Now Moby, do you have a new album coming out? Moby: Yes And what is the name of this new album? Moby: I am putting out an album on June 30th and it is called Wait For Me. And, in a round about way, that you might not be aware of, you are actually involved in the record. Because I heard you speak at Bafta about fourteen of fifteen months ago for David Lynch Foundation Television. David Lynch: I remember that Moby: You were talking about creativity. I am going to paraphrase. But, you said something to effect of... "creativity in and of itself is fine and beautiful." Hearing you say that creativity is beautiful, it just struck me like an epiphany. I was like he is right. Creativity in and of itself is great, and our lives should be spent in service of making great art, not accommodating the market place. So, in making this record I just wanted to try and make something beautiful and emotional and melodic. I don't know if I have accomplished that, but those were my intentions. David Lynch: I have heard a couple of those pieces and they are really thrilling. Moby: Oh thanks David Lynch: Did you send a piece over to me one time? Moby: Yeah, every now and then I will be working on music. And, there will be something in the music that presumptuously I think you might ...
