Christopher Hamill (born 19 December 1958) is a English pop rock / dance vocalist. He is better known by his stage name Limahl (an anagram of his own surname), and was the lead singer of the 1980s synth-pop/rock/new wave band Kajagoogoo, before embarking on a briefly successful solo career, which reached its peak with the soundtrack hit "NeverEnding Story" Limahl's latest single,"Tell Me Why" was originally only out in vinyl and for the German market only. It was eventually added to the compilation of covers of Kajagoogoo songs, never before sung by Limahl.

Limahl - The Neverending Story
"The NeverEnding Story", also titled "The Never Ending Story (L'histoire sans fin)" in the French version, is the title song from the English version of the 1984 film The NeverEnding Story, performed by Limahl, lead singer of Kajagoogoo, and Beth Anderson (though the video for the song features actress and frequent Limahl backup singer Mandy Newton). It was a success in many countries, including Norway and Sweden, where it was a Number One hit, Austria, Germany and Italy, where it peaked at Number 2. The song was composed by Giorgio Moroder with lyrics by Keith Forsey, although it (and other electronic pop elements of the soundtrack) is not present in the German version of the film, which features Klaus Doldinger's score exclusively. In 1984, the single peaked at #4 in the UK singles chart and at #6 in the US Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. As a reference to the film and its title, the song has no distinctive beginning, nor an end. While many songs fade out, NeverEnding Story not only fades out, but also fades in, thus making it "never ending".

Never released commercially, this version of The Neverending Story was produced and remixed by JUPITER (Limahl and Guy Phethean) at their West London Studios, Red Spot Studios in Shepherds Bush in the late 90s. Limahl re-sung this version and the female sax-player in his band at the time, MIX, recorded the female vocals. This version is significantly faster than the original version (121bpm up to 132bpm) and there was 2 mixes; a radio edit and the 12" version - this is a combination of the two. JUPITER worked on over 50 projects and had remixes on three UK No.1's; Livin Joy's 'Dreamer', Tony Di Bart's 'Real Thing' and Peter Andre's 'Mysterious Girl'.
