Misioni i Bashkimit Evropian për policinë dhe drejtësinë në Kosovë, bëri të ditur se kryetari i komunës së Suharekës, Blerim Kuqi, është dënuar me 30 ditë heqje lirie për mosdhënie të dëshmisë. Zoti Kuqi, i cili është edhe sekretar organizativ i Aleancës për Ardhmërinë e Kosovës, është marrë në pyetje nga një gjykatës i EULEX-it për shkak të siç thuhet refuzimit të tij në mënyrë të përsëritur për të dhënë dëshmi gjatë një hetimi. Zëdhënësja e EULEX-it, Kristina Herodes, tha se zotit Kuçi i është dhënë mundësia të dëshmojë sot, sikurse edhe në disa raste të tjera, meqë ai është dëshmitar në një rast penal që po udhëhiqet nga Prokuroria e Posaçme e Kosovës, por ai ka refuzuar.
