Please support and go pick up an album here: www.equalibrum.bandcamp.com I figured out a way using FL studio, Mobius (A loop pedal VST) and a vst called "midi2qwerty" that allows me to play on the MPD32..and loop what im playing live on the fly using 2 pads to time the looping instead of using a foot pedal. Pad 13 starts recording the loop... Pad 14 Ends the loop and starts into Overdub mode. Overdub can be turned on or off by hitting pad 14 again. I basically make a bunch of FPC kits and lay them out in a big list in the order that the elements come in for song change ups..then tab through them with the FF and RW buttons to switch all the sounds on the pads instantly. I can have an INFINITE amount of kits. So technically you can play an entire set like this without ever touching the computer and have all your kits/sounds just keep changing and changing. You can totally jam out free for and you are not locked into a certain tempo or have to start with a pre-programmed loop like ableton. while paying th pads you hit pad 13 to start recording your loop. Then hit pad 13 again to start the loop to play with overdub mode off. Pad 14 marks the end of the loop as well and starts looping with overdub on. At any point you can hit pad 14 to turn overdub on or off or hit pad 13 again and start a brand new loop. It works like a guitar ...
Using two pads to loop what I'm playing on the live fly. Then overdubbing top of it. creating new loops and over those. its free form. Any tempo. No midi clock. Like guitar pedal accept im samples looping with instead pedal. Pretty cool. Took me year figure out how do this. not Able live.
