Turing Machine implemented in Minecraft redstone and piston logic.
Seventy-five years ago the British mathematician Alan Turing proposed a theoretical device that could perform computations and provided the foundations of computer science. en.wikipedia.org This is a Minecraft implementation of a Turing Machine. Here it is running Turing's first example program, simply writing a sequence of symbols to the tape. I have 3 block pairs for each symbol; for this program, all glass down represents a blank, just the middle block down represents a zero, and the outside blocks down represent a one. The program writes the sequence blank, zero, blank, one, and repeats. en.wikipedia.org In theory the tape extends to infinity, but Minecraft isn't quite that big, so I have looped the tape around and joined it behind the machine. Each tape position can hold one of 8 different symbols including the blank. There are 4 latches allowing up to 16 possible states; I usually reserve zero as a halt state. This is an eco-friendly water system for homes. You can find this product online at: www.ecobold.com I visited and reviewed Hydro Logic Water Purifier, I realized how big the extend of our water system problem is. Hydro Logic Water System has been out for a while and they produce one of the best systems I've heard of. They're green and eco-friendly all the way to the plastic, which is made out of castor oil instead of petroleum. They also introduce important minerals back into the water (which in my opinion is much much better than the pure reverse osmosis systems). Their home filtering system is about 60 percent more efficient than other reverse osmosis systems in the market. It's also much smaller and can fit under almost all sinks. I'm sure you've heard before that plastic bottles are polluting our environment. But the extend of it is disastrous and might even shock you: every year over 30000000000 plastic bottles are produced in the US alone! Our of these only 14 to 20 percent are actually recycled. Not only that, plastic bottles can release chemicals into the water when left on the heat (so hopefully you never drank water after you left a bottle in your car on a hot Summer day). One thing that baffles me is that the water bottle industry is not regulated at all, if you buy "drinking water" you're probably buying tap water. Interesting fact: the $100000000000 industry that is spent every year on plastic water bottles could give clean water to every human on the planet <b>...</b>
