Restored Vintage 1957 Cushman Eagle

MotorEagles Presents - Cool Bikes. Cool Riders: 1957 Cushman Eagle restored Historical Bike that belonging to Tony Andrwsyszyw of Elyria, Ohio. He customized the engine. (Quaker Steak and Lube Biker Night in Sheffield, Ohio) Transcript - I'm Tony Andrusyszyn from Elyria, Ohio. This is a 1957 Cushman Eagle I restored. It's got an 8 horse power, basically a lawnmower engine in it. It's got a two-speed transmission. These were built in Lincoln, Nebraska. 1957 was the largest year of production, the most popular model. The day this was sold new, it was sold for $329. You were allowed to ride it on the road if you were 14 years old. If you wanted to get the bigger motor, you had to have a parental paper signed from Cushman and okayed between the customer and the company and you were able to get a bigger motor and horsepower. It was a project I picked up one winter, about October of actually 95' and by March of 96' it was on the road. It was just a winter time project. This is a photo of what it looked like the day I brought it home. Like I said earlier, this was sold brand new for $329. I took my wife with me and I pulled it out of the barn of the friend that I bought it from and she said "You paid $450 for that piece of junk?". Now she looks at it and talks about it, tells all her friends about it. I think it's more hers than it is mine. In the early 30's, Cushman starting making lawnmower engines. He was a pilot, the owner of the company who was the president. He went to an ...

Taeko Stance Shift

Here's a quick demo of my current character in progress. This shows the stance-shifting abilities unique to her. Taeko can enter any of three stances by holding and releasing the A, B, or C button at the end of most attacks. She can enter stances quickly by releasing the button at the right time, or simply continue to hold the button and the stance will eventually change, however, most stance-shifted attacks will not actually chain together unless the shift was timed correctly. Overall she does not do very much damaage and has fairly low defense, but she is one of the fastest characters so far and has the ability to string together insanely large combos. Each stance has its own advantages and disadvantages. The "Brace Stance (A release)" has the strongest and longest range attacks and is the easiest to enter, but it lacks moves quick enough to create large combos. Brace Stance also has the ability to advance towards the opponent by entering the quarter circle motion which also allows Taeko to dodge projectiles, but she remains unable to back step. The "Serpent Hub Stance (B release)" is her most important stance in terms of combos. It has a two quick strike moves, both of which can pick the opponent up off the ground and an excellent over-head combo finishing move. Taeko is able to quickly step forward and back as well as perform a dodge by pressing down. The downside to this stance is that it doesn't output very much damage. Despite the lack of damage, it is important to ...

Heel Switch Drill

Heel Switch Drill This drill builds off of last week's breakdown of the kinetic chain. It focuses on one particular part- the front heel hitting the ground and the back heel lifting to engage the back knee. It is another breakdown drill and begins in your regular stance. Stride out, landing on the balls of your front foot with your front heel in the air. Count 1: Set front heel down and pick up back heel up. Count 2: Switch back. Back heel drops, front heel lifts. Count 3: As you set front heel down, back foot and knee drive with hands/upper body following after. Be sure to not let your entire body sway as you switch heels. Focus on your lower body only and back knee firing as soon as your front heel lands on third count.

Linde exclusive mast & carriage construction

Due to the field-proven durability of the prior 359 series masts and carriages, these components remain unchanged with the new 1401 series trucks. Linde engineers designed three large roller-type mast and carriage assemblies in order to satisfy the specific load handling requirements for a truck family spanning capacities from 22000 to 40000 pounds as well as incorporating two distinct load centers of 24 and 48 inches. In this fashion it is possible to optimize individual truck capacity and stability performance within the entire 1401 range which encompasses ten distinct truck models. An extensive range of simple and dual masts and lift heights are available. All trucks maintain rated capacity with standard Linde integral hydraulic carriages up to a lift height of 20 feet. All Linde 1401 series masts utilize exclusive and patented outer channel sections. These sections feature a flared, scalloped design in order to maximize channel surface area. In combination with inner interlocking I-beams, load moment forces are more efficiently dissipated, contributing towards reduced metal fatigue, resulting in longer mast life. All Linde masts feature wide channel spacing and outer lift chain design for best possible operator visibility. All external hydraulic hoses are routed on the outside of the mast, next to the lift chains. All 1401 trucks are equipped with Linde integral hydraulic side-shifting and sequential fork-positioning pin-type carriages. Optional lumber industry ...

Cervelo P2 - FSA Gossamer/Energy Crank versus Ultegra 6700

In the interest of full disclosure, the guys at the bike shop are very nice and I like doing business there. They want to go the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy. They have a great shop, great product selection, etc. The proof is in the pudding, and you can see shifting using the ultegra crankset is nearly flawless, whereas the FSA would likely cause a wreck at high speeds if you weren't careful. It seems clear to me on this particular frame that the FSA Gossamer crank, for whatever reason, doesn't perform well. It would be good to see Cervelo address the issue rather than leave it to the shop to try and make a bad solution work. The new Ultegra crankset completely resolves the issue. I read on Cervelo's page that some felt the stay for the derailleur mount was 1mm too high, but I don't see how that would matter, as the lever arm and the chain ring ramps, when run on the middle ring in the back, push the chain up the same way. Regardless, in this case, if you have a Cervelo P2 Ultegra from 2008-2009, and are having nasty shifting in the front, chances are you will resolve your problem replacing the FSA with Ultegra.

33. Competition

VOICE NARRATOR: In pursuit of profit, a firm will determine what consumers want, and produce it at the lowest cost. The profit attracts another firm, to sell it cheaper. The consumers buy there, so the bottom firm reduces price to get them back. Competition drives firms to lower their prices. The inputs are also shifting: materials, capital goods, and labor shift, at different rates. The firms want to pay as little as possible, to maximize profit, while the input-suppliers want to get the highest price. If we put it all together with consumers moving also, this pattern is the smallest molecule of perfect market competition. We can group the inputs or the consumers or both. We can group the industry, to make a basic chain. We can regroup it in many ways. These are different views of the same thing. But looking at it this way helps us to see that there are two different processes, different directions. Side to side, the business firms maximize profit. Up and down, inputs and consumers move to their best prices. Perfect competition uses price changes to allow consumer choice at lower costs, finally stabilizing at an equilibrium.

FF13 Last Battle - 5 stars (Part 2)

~ First of I KNOW that im not exactly on a high lvl in my crystarium, and second, I know I have far from the best weapons, this video is simply made out of fun, and to show some friends how you can, or, how I got 5 stars on the last battles without being over lvl'd, if anyone have a faster way to kill him at this lvl id be more than happy to get comments about it!!! ^_^ ~ 2nd Form; IMPORTANT; As Orphan utilizes Instant Death attacks, equipping the party leader with a Seraph's crown is essential; Since Cherub's crowns do not stack completely, equipping 3 will only result in a 46% resistance to death, whereas a max level Seraph's Crown will provide you with 60% resistance; Equipping 3 max level Seraph's crowns will provide you with a 94% resistance; (these equipments can be bought and upgraded in the shop right before the first battle!) Okey, so the old man is finally gone and your now left with the battle against the Orphan; This version of him dont waste any time on you and will start right off with his most powerfull attack Merciless Judgment that can give you a massive damage; So it would be wise to start off this battle by healing yourself ofcourse; After the party has recovered from the attack, shift to Evened Odds. Orphan has low resistance to many status effects, including Slow and Imperil; The Synergist will concentrate on placing Haste, Protect, Shell, Veil and Enfire on all party members while the Medic should heal when needed; Once all these status effects are ...

The Triton Pro has all of the qualities you look for in a leisure bicycle: comfort, smooth ride, and durability. The Triton Pro features a dual-joystick steering mechanism that is exhilarating to use and provides a smooth maneuverability. This cruiser maintains a low center of gravity, thus making it especially stable and safe for the whole family.
