Installed Metroamp Zero-Loss FX Loop to my Supalead. Before, i have never found any use for fx loops but recently i have used Lexicon LXP-1 in my SLO clone's fx loop and i have really liked the depth it adds. Now wanted to do the same with my Marshalls (i orderd two loops, one for Supalead and one for JTM45). Of course i wanted the kind of fx loop that doesn't ruin the tone of the amps. This Metroamp Zero-Loss FX Loop seems to do the job. The guitar goes straight to the amp, the cab is Marshall 4x12" filled with Celestion G12H30 Anniversaries. Weber Mass 100 attenuator is used to bring the amp volume down. Mics: SE Electronics SE2200 in front of amp, Oktava MK 012-01 stereo pair at the back side of the (open back) cab to give some stereo image.

We're just messing with this great little Lexicon unit, the LXP-5 and a Kaossilator loop. Of course you can get a great reverb out of it but I wanted to hear something interesting. For $179 I was pretty blown away. Verbs, Delays, Chorus, Multi-effects=FUN bigcitymusic.com

Ebay Auction ID=280537629216 Quick demo of the LXP-5 processing a Korg KR-55 (not for sale) with live tweaking on the MRC programmer. I just demonstrated the main delay and reverb in the delay/reverb algorythm. The pitch shifting is great too, and you can 'play' the pitch shift with MIDI notes. Great box, sad to see it go after so many years especially now that it's getting the 'retro-vintage' cred. Audio could be better, I used a line output from the LXP-5 (it's hiding under the KR-55, behind the MRC) to the mic input of the camcorder and reduced the output level. Better than the built in mic & speakers like most YouTube demos!

My little remix of the track "Stress feat. Jaba - Vers La Lumière (Remady Remix)". I left out the French rap parts by Stress because in my opinion they sort of ruined this amazing house tune by Remady. Therefore I changed the title of the track a little - all credit goes to the artists behind the original song, though. Enjoy folks! For entertainment puposes only, no copyright infringement intended. I do not own anything.

Outboard reverb hardware can be a burden to work with. Not as burdensome as, say, having to carry an echo chamber around with you, but not quite as easy as just throwing either the Lexicon PCM Reverb Native Bundle or — easier still — the Lexicon LXP Reverb native Bundle onto your laptop or tower. We spoke with Lexicon's Casey Young about the two new reverb packages and took a look at their interfaces. We were going to try and get a listen to the reverbs in action, but the only material at the Lexicon station was unreleased and copy-written, and really, the last thing we want to do these days is piss off the RIAA.

Shown here, one of three Genesis LXPs was instrumental in cracking through the large columns on a bridge demolition site in Florida. The mobility of the LXPs allowed the contractor to process debris onsite, maintain a tight deadline, and do so with in a limited area, allowing the contractor to adhere to strict environmental laws. When the project was done, 25000 cu. yards of concrete, 75 tons of rebar and 100 tons of steel girders were processed.
