First of all to DisaROTIN who taught me many things about Kurdish history. Thank you. Pics: flowers of Hungarian Folk Art, and some pics of a village called Hollókő (Raven-stone). Hollókő is an Palóc ethnographic village in Hungary, Part of the World Heritage. It's located in a picturesque hilly surrounding, in a valley of Cserhát Mountains. The castle of Hollókő was built in the 13th century. This castle on top of the neighboring hill determined the life of the villagers for a long time. The Kacsics family built the pentagonal tower in the middle of the XIII c. which was continuously rebuilt and enlarged. Today a legend is connected to the name of the Kacsics family. Apparently a member of the family, Andras (Andrew) kidnapped the daughter of the neighbor nobleman and had her closed into a room of the castle. The nanny of the girl who was a witch called for the evils to help. They turned into ravens and carried the stones of the castle away. That is where the name of Holloko (Ravenstone) might derive from. The panorama of the Cserhat is breathtaking from the nicely renewed castle. He represents the Mahasamund constituency of Chattisgarh and is a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) political party. He was the first Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh between 2000 and 2003. Despite having suffered a severe spinal cord injury while campaigning during the 2004 Lok Sabha elections, he is presently the only elected Congress Member of Parliament from Chhattisgarh (Mahasamund). He studied Mechanical Engineering at the Maulana Azad College of Technology, Bhopal, winning the University Gold Medal in 1968. After having worked briefly as a lecturer at the Govt. Engineering College, Raipur, he took the nationwide examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and was selected for the Indian Police Service (IPS, 1968-70) and Indian Administrative Service (IAS, 1970-86). He holds the all-India Record for the longest serving District Magistrate & Collector (13 years), having served as collector of Sidhi, Shahdol, Raipur and Indore. At the behest of the then Prime Minister Late Mr Rajiv Gandhi, he resigned to take the plunge into politics and become Member of the Rajya Sabha (India's Upper House), where he served two terms (1986-92, 92-98). In 1998, he won the Raigarh seat after defeating the BJP state president and entered the Lok Sabha for the first time. Hazrat Sayed Badiuddin Zinda Shah Madar is a prominent sufi saint. Who lived 596 years. Whose tomb is situated in Makanpur, near Kanpur city in the state of Uttar Pardesh in India.He also known and crowned as Qutb-ul-Madar. Sayed Badiuddin Kutubul Madar was born in the Halab city of Shaam (now known as Syria). The Halab city is famous and holy in Syria. It is said that once there was a hill where now exists a fort. It is on this hill that Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) had milked his goats and this process of milking in arabic is known as Halab, so the name Halab was given to this city. Syria is the neighbour of the Arab countries, which is known as the Gulf region these days. The Gulf region is surrounded by the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, the red sea and the deserts. The region that lies from the seashores of Syria to the deserts of Yemen is called as "Hijaaj". The holy cities of Makkah, Taif yasraf and Madina are parts of this region, which is related to the life of the Prophet embers of the dargah shareef are allowed to enter the tomb which was constructed by Emperor Ibrahim Sharki and no women can enter the Haram-e-Saani nor anyone is allowed to take the Chirag or cooked food in this area. If any female attempts to enter the Haram-e-Saani, she get annoyed and irritated as if she has caught fire.
