Märklin digital, H0, BR 01 and BR 184, Railway, Railroad, Train

You see a little progress now. A BR 01 with sound (i think this sound is wrong, seems to be from an American Lok) and the BR 184 make the tour. The BR 01 has some "Donnerbüchsen" and the price of 140 EURO is okay, even if the sound module is wrong. The BR 184 has the HLA machine and the BR 01 the C- Sinus machine. Still a lot of work, i will make everything digital and will use another mobile station with only 1,2 A. No, the buildings will become analog Power. But for the moment i have too much to work in my job ,-(

Märklin digital, H0, first try on new platform, Railway, Railroad, Train

This is the first run of two loks -a BR 184 and a RE IV/IV from Switzerland. It sems to work, so i can fix the curves and begin to build up the new design. Greetings from Germany.

Märklin, digital, Mobile Station 1, Tipp , Railway, Railroad, Train, Dekoder

Here a short description how to change more parameter with the Mobile Station: New lok - Number 36330, than comes the Ee 3/3. Now You can change it. Go to Change lok, turn the red button and You see more parameters. Adress is always there, name also, ACC can be changed, than DCC and even V - max. Interesting is the point change REG. It is possible to change the REG,s. What which REG does is written in the description of the decoder. But You can only change 1 REG, than You must press "okay". For the next You have to do, change lok, change REG and turn the red button. So You can do it for another REG. Many loks drive now better after i changed some parameters. The DCC for example is mostly too quick, that means the lok stopps to fast. I put my loks on a value between 6 and 9 Seconds. Greetings from Germany and have fun !

Here You see the Steamer BR 50 by Märklin with the HLA, a BR 184 also by Märklin and also with the HLA and a G 1700 by Pico. The Trains from Märklin run better as the Modell from Pico, but it is also okay.

Märklin, digital, H0, BR 41 Fleischmann, Railway, Railroad, Train

Here my first Lok of Fleischmann. A BR 41,also called "Knallfrosch". Some people, which did not know the reason for this sound, became fear. In my opinion Fleischmann has build a very good machine for Märklin. It runs without problems and the sound is also okay.

Although it originally specialised in doll house accessories, today it is best known for model railways and technical toys. In some parts of Germany, the company's name is almost synonymous with model railroads. In 2009 Märklin celebrated its 150th anniversary. Märklin filed for bankruptcy on 4 February 2009, but on 5 February 2010 announced a return to profitability. Märklin Digital Märklin Digital was among the earlier digital model railway control systems. It consisted of a full system including locomotive decoders (based on a Motorola chip), central control (Märklin-6021), a computer interface (Märklin-6050), turnout decoders (Märklin-6083), digital relays (Märklin-6084) and s88 feedback modules (Märklin-6088). The initial system was presented in the 1979 Nuremberg Toy Fair, and the control system was released in Europe in 1985 and made available in the USA in 1986 under the name Digital H0. Operation Conventional analog control of model railways works by varying the track power and any locomotive on the track will respond by running at a speed roughly proportional to the power. For multiple trains sidings must have a switch to isolate trains standing there and leave the track dead. Märklin filed for bankruptcy on 4 February 2009, but on 5 February 2010 announced a return to profitability. The Märklin System The Märklin system is the technique of using a third rail concealed in the roadbed with only small studs protruding through the ties of the track. The two outer rails are connected electrically. This provides the simplified wiring enjoyed by larger gauges—such as for reverse loops—without seriously detracting from the realism of the track because only two of the rails are visible. Because the two outer rails are not electrically isolated from each other, however, some do not consider Märklin's system to be a true three-rail system. However, older sections of 'M-Track' do have an actual conductor rail rather than studs. This older system is compatible with newer trains, although the reduced clearance for the pick-up shoe can sometimes cause running difficulties. The Märklin system has some incompatibility with other manufacturers' H0 trains. Because the wheels on Märklin's cars are not insulated, it causes shorts if its cars ...

Two digital Märklin BR80 in Gauge 1 loks (Spur 1) Grey #5503/5510 and Black #5700/5710

Here are the famous grey lok from the trainset "Nostalgie Zug mit grauer BR 80" (catalogue number 5503 or 5510) and the analogue black lok (number 5700/5710) converted to digital operation with sound module using Uhlenbrock technology... The controller is also by the awesome Uhlenbrock 65000 Intellibox, connected to a Märklin power supply (60VA) thus enabling top quality control of the trains! Trains are travelling next to a Spur 1 model of the Crailsheim Wasserturm (water tower) made by Märklin (#5619) and a copy in H0 by HELJAN (modified and painted by me to be an exact copy of the Spur 1 edition..) Note that you can now go and drink coffee there in the water-tower!! Search for "wasserturm-crailsheim" - the Bistro-Cafè-Bar in Germany.. Regards, David Please rate my videos if you like them (:
