This is a video I did for The Iceman, George Gervin. Unfortunately I never had the chance to watch The Iceman play because I was too young to understand and enjoy basketball while he was playing. However from watching alot of this footage, I certainly realized I missed out on watching the first great Spur, and one of the greatest scorers ever, finger roll and jump shoot his way over the competition. Here's to the legend, The Iceman, for his legendary game on the court and for setting the tone and paving the way for the Spur's franchise. (And hopefully making some new Iceman fans with this video as well:) This video was done to the song "Fly Away" by Lenny Kravitz.

Once he arrived, he certainly seemed in tune. Or at least close. Rose scored 13 points and had seven assists to lead the balanced Chicago Bulls to an impressive 92-85 season-opening victory against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night. Rose, who missed most of the preseason because of pain in his right ankle, waved to his mom in the crowd and blew her a kiss before the opening tip. He then showed some of the explosiveness that carried him to the Rookie of the Year award last season. "I was geeked up in the car listening to the music, just getting ready for the game," Rose said. "I was ready." Was the ankle an issue? "Not at all," said Rose, who played 33 minutes. He penetrated and delivered some dizzying spin moves that drew roars from the crowd, showing few signs of the pain that had bothered him the past few weeks even if there's still some rust to scrape away. Emanuel David Ginóbili, better known as Manu Ginóbili, (born 28 July 1977 in Bahía Blanca, Argentina), is an Argentine basketball player. Coming from a family of professional basketballers, he is a member of the Argentine national basketball team and the San Antonio Spurs in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Ginóbili spent the early half of his basketball career in Argentina and Italy, where he won several individual and team honors. His stint with Italian side Kinder Bologna was particularly productive, earning two Lega A Most Valuable Player awards, one Euroleague MVP award and the 2001 League Championship. The San Antonio Spurs drafted the shooting guard as the 57th overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft, but Ginóbili returned to Italy and only joined the Spurs in 2002. He did not take long to establish himself as a key player for the Spurs, and has since won three NBA championships as well as being named an All-Star once. With the national team, Ginóbili has also enjoyed success. He made his début in 1998, and was a member of the team which won the gold medal during the 2004 Olympics. Hailed as one of the finest Europe-based players to grace the NBA with his high-tempo and intensive game, Ginóbili is also the only basketball player ever to win a Euroleague title, an NBA championship, and an Olympic gold medal.
Kevin Dallas Martin, Jr. (born February 1, 1983(1983-02-01)) is an American professional basketball player currently with the Sacramento Kings in the NBA. He is known for his deceptive quickness and unorthadox style of shooting. In the 2004--05 season, Martin averaged 2.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. He, for much of the season, accepted the role of 12th man, which gained him much respect throughout the Kings organization. He showed much improvement the following year, averaging 10.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. Martin also started from time to time during the 2005--06 season, which included a start at small forward due to Ron Artest being suspended for Game Two of the team's first-round playoff series against the San Antonio Spurs following a flagrant foul (elbow to the head) on Manu Ginobili. He is best known in that series for making the game winning buzzerbeater in Game 3 over San Antonio Spur's Tim Duncan. When interviewed on a segment by TNT during a game, Martin credited Doug Christie for helping him learn how to defend in the NBA. Likewise, Martin also credited Cuttino Mobley for helping him with his shooting. Martin played behind both guards during their tenure with the Kings.
