Iron Man 3 begins production later this month, and we know that Thor 2 is set to shoot later this year followed by Captain America 2. Are we close to the reveal of Marvel's mystery movie? It's looking that way and we have two films that could be the most likely candidates. We previously reported that Marvel Studios has set a May 16th, 2014 release date for an as yet unnamed movie. There has been lots of speculation on what exactly that movie will be, but it's looking like we may be closer than ever to finally finding out. One such film could be the long awaited Ant-Man movie. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige previously revealed that the film was as close as it ever has been to getting made and just this past weekend, Edgar Wright, the writer and director tapped to bring the film to the big screen tweeted out this photo with the caption, "Received this in the mail. What can it mean?" It's obviously a nod to Ant-Man, but who it came from and what exactly it means remains a mystery. We do know an Ant-Man movie in 2014 would be the perfect setup for the character and possibly Wasp to be added to the Avengers team for a possible 2015 sequel. With the reveal of a certain character in the end credits of The Avengers - you can watch that here if you don't know what I'm talking about (point to the left) - another possible movie to hit screens come 2014 is the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Recently, Entertainment Weekly spoke with Marvel's Kevin Feige about The Avengers and post-Avengers plans. It seems like Marvel will indeed be looking to explore the far reaches of space...if you remember, there as a rumor earlier this year that an Inhumans movie was in development at Marvel. AS you guys know EW just put the avengers on the cover of their most recent issue and in the article, Kevin Feige did confirm rumors that The Inhumans is a superhero group being looked at for a big screen incarnation! So on a very surfaced level, let me explain on behalf of the Inhumans...without getting too deep, they are essentially an alien race of superheros who connect with the rest of the marvel world......they have often teamed up with the avengers and fantastic four to kick villain ass. Feige explained that if the Inhumans did make it to the big screen, it would be an xmen style ensemble kinda like the avengers. Other Marvel properties looking at a possible big screen movie include Ant-Man & The Guardians of the Galaxy. So far, no writer, no director, no cast...so at this point, its just a REALLY awesome idea that I HOPE makes it to the silver screen... as we get more deets, we will be sure to keep you posted! Marvel Studios Co-Pres Kevin Feige reveals a secret project is in the works, and Clevver Movies is here with the details. Feige announced in a recent interview that his Co-President, Louis D'Esposito, directed a piece that will be revealed in the next few months. Reports suggest that it will most likely be another Agent Coulson short but there is no word on whether they will take place post-Avengers. D'Esposito is no random choice to direct. He is Executive Producer for all of the Marvel films and shorts, and his previous assistant directing experience gives him the skills necessary for the project. Perhaps he's directing a trailer to introduce at Comic Con. Feige confirmed Marvel Studios will be there this summer but would not discuss what they'd be introducing.
