Mayara BAND - Haly Gnawy
Après avoir remporté, grâce à leur originalité et leur sens de la scène, « Génération Mawazine » 2007 & le « Tremplin lBoulevard » en 2008, Mayara Band sort enfin son 1er single « Haly Gnawi ». Les 7 compères « Mayara », unis en 2006 par quelques « jam sessions entre potes », forment le groupe et se retrouvent, discrètement, à faire croître leur talent et leur amour pour la musique. Les standards Gnawis sont le fondement de la fusion de « Mayara », sans pour autant sy limiter : Funk, ragga, raï, dub, reggae ou encore flamenco Les musiciens du groupe repoussent les limites et saventurent dans tous les recoins musicaux. Les membres de Mayara Band nont pas besoin de mettre les mots « gnawa » ou « fusion » dans le nom de leur groupe pour en faire : Ils préfèrent la musique à lallure, et ça leur va bien. La suite ? A venir voir, mais surtout à écouter. Les « Mayara » feront bientôt vibrer le sable de Dakhla lors du Festival Mer et Désert & celui de Lalla Takerkoust au Festival Moonfest.

Rest in Peace Isabella 12.31.94-4.23.11 & Mayara 3.11.95-4.22.11 BOSTON -- A teenager was killed and another gravely injured early Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Somerville. The crash happened at about 3:30 am on the elevated portion of the McGrath Highway southbound, over Washington Street, according to Massachusetts State Police. A 16-year-old Everett girl was pronounced dead at the scene. A 17-year-old Somerville girl is in grave condition at Massachusetts General Hospital. State police initially said two people had died in the crash. Their names have not been released. The driver of the 2001 Chevy Malibu, Kenneth Belew, 21, of Somerville, was taken into custody and is at the hospital. Three other people, Rudolph Reis, 20, of Somerville; Jerry Altidor, 21, of Somerville; and Rafaela Pereira, 19, of Everett; suffered minor injuries, state police said. State police said the group was returning from a house party and alcohol and speed did play a role in the crash. State police said neither the driver, the gravely injured teen nor the teen that was killed were wearing seatbelts. Belew will be arraigned Monday in Somerville District Court on charges of motor vehicle homicide, operating under the influence of liquor, speeding and marked lane violation. Inbound lanes of the McGrath were closed, and troopers directed traffic under the elevated portion of the roadway during the investigation.

A atriz Mayara Magri, viúva do diretor de teledramaturgia Herval Rossano (1935-2007), esteve no programa de Marcia Goldschmidt no dia 2/12/09. A atriz participou do quadro 'O Que Eu Nunca Disse pra Você'. Durante a gravação ela contou que conheceu Rossano ainda jovem, quando ele era casado com a atriz Nívea Maria. Durante a conversa com Márcia, Mayara também contou que guardou mágoa de Silvio Santos: - Depois de um dia inteiro gravando, Herval foi afastado por problemas de saúde no meio de uma cena. Ele foi gravar o dia inteiro e não estava mal. No dia seguinte, veio a minha demissão em casa, por telegrama. Fui demitida do SBT por correspondência. O Silvio Santos me demitiu injustamente.
