Terry McCafferty is an Irish POW, who had his license revoked after serving 6 years in Maghaberry gaol. His license was revoked by the Secretary of State and he was taken back to gaol just days before his first Christmas with his young family in 6 years, he had only been released a few weeks. There has been no explanation from the Secretary of State Paul Goggins as to why his license was revoked. We have little doubt that there is no reason for Terry's license to be revoked and we believe it may be a spiteful reaction to the release of the Derry Four. It is quite clear that M15 did not get the result they wanted in the Special Criminal Court in Dublin and they have ordered that Terry be imprisoned due to the fact he has been recently released and his first Christmas with his family for years. I do NOT have alot of information concerning the CD this song came off from. This CD was released in 1993. The CD is titled Seasons -Going Home (I believe Seasons is the name of the orchestral band/group) Apparently the only place I could find this CD was in Germany as it was recorded in Germany. There are 2 different versions of this CD,one containing 15 songs and the other CD contains only 5 songs. I have both of these versions. Dan McCafferty also appears in 2 more songs on this CD.One titled "Amazing Grace" and the other "Caledonia" From what I have understood (and I could be wrong) ,This song "Going Home" was supposed to have been used in his solo album "Into The Ring" but was then shelved.

I interviewed vocalist Dan McCafferty and since-passed away drummer Darrell Sweet from Nazareth the day before a Nazareth show at Night Moves Cabaret in May 1993 to promote their new No Jive album. The interview took place on May 16, 1993, which just happened to be Darrell's birthday, as he says in the clip. This interview appeared on the June 18, 1993 edition of my TV show Hard Rock Heroes. (#68) NOTE: From around :54 to 1:10, what you see on the screen is me forwarding on the VHS recorder as I'm capturing the video to prepare for You Tube. That is the only way I can do minor editing, as this interview originally went almost 11 minutes, and I have to shorten it to 10 minutes for You Tube. All you miss is Dan talking about Russia's new status as a non-communist country. It did break my heart to have to cut out the last few seconds, too, where I finish throwing to the song, and afterwards, Dan and Darrell both say, "Go, Beau, go!" But I couldn't find anything else during the interview to edit out.

Nazareth was in Sicamous, BC, Canada for a stop-over for a few drinks on their way to concert in Coquitlam, BC and then Sturgis North in Salmon Arm, BC They were passing through on an un-marked tour bus when they pulled into Brother's Pub in Sicamous. My 18 year old son, Bryson recognized them and ran home to get this brother to return to the pub for a couple photos...they had really thick accents and were interested in very short conversation and photo ops...they were interested in their drink lol :)

y Orhan Ayyüce Coy Howard's Ellen and Jay McCafferty House in San Pedro was built in 1980, just around the pivotal, transforming times in California architecture. This is when experimentation with form and materials inspired the whole generation of architects as fresh ideas were beaming from Los Angeles. Group of young architects led by Frank Gehry were making buildings with plywood and drywall but were doing them outrageously. It quickly caught on by the students as most of the group were teaching architecture in UCLA and newly opened SCI-Arc. Unofficially, Coy Howard was the house poet of that dynamic, exploratory and highly mobile group of the moment. Coy's biggest contribution was that he connected the philosophy of his architecture to artistic "making." Although McCafferty House was one of the most evolved ones of the ground up projects of the genre, it remained elusive to the architectural community and it still keeps its distance. In one of its rare public appearances, the house was picked up by the ever so architectural connoisseur Charles Moore in his guide to LA architecture, "The City Observed, Los Angeles," in which Mr. Moore included the McCafferty house among the handful of carefully chosen contemporary homes. I think the only other houses he talked about were Frank Gehry's own Santa Monica House and Larry Gagosian's House in Venice that was designed by Robert Mangurian, regarding the particular times. McCafferty House - was and is - a major work.

www.RealityUnKnown.com March 25th, 2011 Claymont, Delaware An army of Department of Transportation workers "ambushed" a Delaware neighborhood Friday, tearing several basketball hoops out of ground that were found to be in violation of "right of way" laws for being too close to a city street. When what John McCafferty described as about five or six dump trucks holding two to three workers each stopped by his house to rip out his hoop, his wife, Melissa, climbed up their basketball pole to try to save it, which had apparently been there for 60 years. Delaware Department of Transportation trucks left, but her heroic effort didn't last. The Delaware DOT soon returned with police, who threatened to arrest both McCaffertys if they got in a way. http
