
And here's my Lunatic 1CC of the final story mode for Touhou 12.3. Meiling's story took me fewer tries than either Cirno or Sanae to complete, although that might just be because of the practice I gained from the previous two. With Meiling, I can no longer cheese my way through normal fights with projectile spam, but I really appreciate her easily chainable melee combos. She's also pretty fast on the ground, which can really come in handy for dodging spellcards when augmented with Aya's system card. Thankfully, all but one of Meiling's opponents will give you ample time to attack in between spellcard volleys, so her lack of projectile options don't cripple her. Most of the time, you will be focused on fully dodging an attack wave, then striking once or twice in the brief lull before repeating. My spellcard deck is somewhat different from the previous two that I used. I'm still running full sets of Utsuho's, Alice's, and Aya's system cards. I also have 4 copies of Meiling's default 236 skillcard, "Scent Wave". Finally, I'm only running 1 Patchouli system card, because unlike the other two characters, Meiling won't be flying around spamming projectiles most of the time, so her spirit usually doesn't drain as fast. In their place, I have 3 copies of Suwako's system card. The first 2 cards do absolutely nothing when used, but the 3rd card will grant you about 15 seconds worth of complete invulnerability. This is to be used only against the Giant Catfish's final spellcard. For <b>...</b>
