I made this clip on a dull, dismal autumn day. This tune seemed to fit with the mood. So I went out in the pouring rain and took some equally dismal photos and it all seemed to come together. I think this tune (which sounds traditional but was composed by RD Lunceford) goes some way to illustrate how melancholic and mysterious clawhammer banjo can sound. Particularly in alternate tunings.
