Robin Hood Men In Tights - Mel Brooks (full movie)

Robin Hood Men In Tights www.facebook.com A spoof of Robin Hood in general, and 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves' in particular. Director: Mel Brooks Writers: JD Shapiro (story), Evan Chandler (story) Stars: Cary Elwes, Richard Lewis and Roger Rees A lot have been asking how i managed to upload this movie and "why the fuck is it 3 hours long?" ANS: It was a file i had on my friend's very old HD. I was also surprised it was repeated without sound. YT upgraded my account before to upload longer vids. So I did some test uploads. This was the first test upload. Then I got 2 strikes for trying to upload more Mel Brooks movies. YT eventually downgraded my account so this is the only vid that got passed their radar. I guess the 3 hour vid with half-muted saved it. I've seen some upload mirror copies of a video. oh well, done with this. As much as I'd love to upload more, i can't -- sorry. Glad that YT made this one through. Now i just upload some music and shorts with a little bit of editing just to keep me sane. Disclaimer: This video is for entertainment purposes only. No profit is being made from this. I don't own the footage or the music nor am I claiming I own them. It's meant only for enjoyment. -- Rambotan www.facebook.com

Mel Brooks: the 2000 year old man pt. 1

One of Mel Brooks' best routines ever! Carl Reiner pretend not to be Jewish as he interviews Mel Brooks, playing someone's (sort of) typical Jewish grandfather, just thousands of years older.

Honoring Mel Brooks (1)

December 6, 2009 he Kennedy Center Honors which included tributes to Robert DeNiro, Dave Brubeck, Mel Brooks, Grace Bumbry, and Bruce Springsteen. The tribute to Mel Brooks combined singing, dancing, and wonderfully over-the-top humor. Carl Reiner perhaps captured the essence of Mel Brooks when he said that Mel was gifted with a genius brain and brilliantly uncensorable tongue. The tributes to Mel Brooks continued with clips from his old movies including History of the World, Part I and Young Frankenstein. (Nice to see clips of Bea Arthur and Cloris Leachman too!). Musical tributes included a medley of Mel Brooks' hits. Frank Langella invited Obama to "hope for the best, expect the worst" (The Twelve Chairs). Martin Short sang about Blazing Saddles. Jack Black sang about Men In Tights. Harry Connick Jr. then sang about High Anxiety (could someone get me down from here please?) Richard Kind sang and danced about the Inquisition. The Mel Brooks tributes culminated in satirically irreverent performances from The Producers. Glee's Matthew Morrison kicked off with a lyrical rendition of Springtime for Hitler, showing that he can tap dance as well as he can sing. Gary Beach reprised his role as the hilariously flamy Hitler. Matthew Broderick reprised his role as Leo Bloom, ending with a choral rendition of Til Him.

Mel Brooks The Critic

Mel Brooks is probably the greatest comedic genius that this world has seen. From the underrated Silent Movie to the hysterical 2000 Year Old Man the man's a god. Anyway I bring to you his short film that won him an Oscar back in 1963, Enjoy

Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks; The 2000 Year Old Man

Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks would do a skit at parties called The 2000 Year Old Man. Carl Reiner would have questions prepared, but Mel Brooks would ad-lib answers right on the spot. It was so funny, they recorded it. This is only a small part out of three volumes.

Mel Brooks, Anne Bancroft - "To Be or Not to Be" Musical Opening Number in Polish

[From "Kovacs Corner" on YouTube.com] - Consciously or not, did Mel Brooks pay a tribute to Ernie Kovacs in his 1983 film "To Be or Not to Be"? One of the opening scenes finds Mel and his real life wife, the late Anne Bancroft, performing the song "Sweet Georgia Brown"...in Polish. Sounds familiar Kovacs fans? One of the recurring visual/musical gags that Ernie inserted in most of his ABC Television Network produced shows was the unidentified singer performing "Mona Lisa"...also in Polish! You can catch a view of the Kovacs clip at the beginning of my YT video 'Ernie Kovacs - Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture, Part 2"' [ www.youtube.com ]

Mel Brooks - To Be Or Not To Be (The Hitler Rap) 12" Version (Extended)

Lyrics : Well Hi there people You know me I used to run a little joint called Germany. I was number one The people's choice And everybody listened to my mighty voice. My name is Adolf I'm on the mike. I'm gonna hip you to the story of the New Third Reich. It all began down in Munich town and pretty soon The word started gettin' around. So I said to Martin Boorman I said Hey Marty, why don't we throw a little nazi party? We had an election Well Kinda sorta And before you knew it hello New order. To all those mothers in the fatherland I said Achtung, Baby, I got me a plan . 'YVhatcha got Adolf? Whatcha gonna do?" I said "how about this one World War Two?" To be or not to be Oh baby Can't you see We're gonna take it to the top. You're making history And it feels so good to me Ooh darlin' Please don't ever stop. Don't be stupid; be a smarty Come on and join the nazi party - party. Like humpty dumpty offa that wall All the little countries they began to fall Holland Belgium Denmark Poland- The troops were rockin' and the tanks were rollin' We were swingin' along with a song in our hearts. And "Deutschland über alles" was making the charts We had a new step called a goosestep we were dancing to. Well It's sorta kinda like a German boogaloo I was gettin' what I wanted But it wasn't enough. So I called the boys I said boys Get though Now I surrounded myself with some unusual cats. There was skinny little Göbbels and Göring mister fats And let's not forget ole Himmler and Hess ...
