Use the VOLUME 1 and Volume 2 knobs to adjust the levels so that the audio signals are output to AUDIO IN 1 and 2 2 When you raise the MIXER "INST LEVEL" (knob 2) value, the input signal from AUDIO IN 2 will be input to the band pass filter (synthesis filter) of the carrier. 3. When you raise the MIXER "OSC 1 LEVEL" (knob 1) and play the keyboard, the OSC 1 waveform will be input to the the band pass filter of the carrier 4. If you set the AUDIO IN 1 "HPF GATE" (knob 4) to Disable (DIS), the high frequency portion of the input signal from the AUDIO In 1 jack will also be output. Have FUN!

Real simple, almost out-of-the-box setup. Microkorg attached to line in of the Kaossilator. A few changes in the midi settings to allow Microkorg to get only the clock from midi out of the Kaossilator Pro to match the arpeggiators' BPMs. Trying out some of the the basic features such as the vocoder, effects, loop recorder and the arpeggiator.

I haven't seen a video featuring all of the Microkorg's (non-vocoder) factory presets yet. So here they are in high-quality audio. Keep in mind that Korg's presets are pretty pathetic compared to what the MS2000 engine inside this thing is really capable of doing. It is preprogrammed demo songs that Korg programmed into the arpeggiator which you can play back with a certain combination of keys pressed* This is the included demo songs on the microKorg. It will you give you a good representation of the different sounds and effects. The big knob in the middle represents the different banks. 1. Trance 2. Techno/house 3. Electronica 4. Drum&Bass 5. HipHop/Vintage 6. Retro 7. Sound effects 8. Vocoder To be honest the sounds in the shipped banks kinda suck. Unless your a trance junkie of course. I prefer to create my own. Or, load the MS-2000 presets into the microKorg which includes more vintage analog sounds, which i prefer =) One thing that I like is that its very easy to create your own sounds. The knobs are laid out in an logical order so you dont have to known that much about synths, you just turn the knobs in order. The vocoder rocks!
