This is the second video of a shorter children version of the concert "Musical instruments of the Oriental world" that me and my dear old friend and mentor Louis Soret used to play all over France and Belgium in the early 80s. We travelled in a van with a sound system and 42 oriental musical instruments from Morocco to China including some instruments that medival Europe adopted from the East (I remember that I had 116 strings to tune before each concert) and we played 15 different pieces of traditional music from all those different countries, after explaining of course the origin, the characteristics and playing techniques of each instruments (not included in this editing). This second video presents the instruments and the music from Middle East, Turkey, Afghanistan and India. Sorry for the quality of the video but at that time we didn't have the HD yet, only some crude VHS cassettes, so... It also interesting that almost every question i ask its answered on the description (And guess i am contradicting myself for posting this on the description again :p ), but it anyways.. it won't give teach you how to play it in couple of hours, you have to research, listen multiple times, watch the fretting, timing, listen to related videos.. I've really appreciated everyone has enjoyed and interested in this piece that i never thought it would end in that way lol. Its really harder than it looks to make tabs from something one plays that comes from one own head. But i like the intrigue and with some more interest, views.. i will make an effort to tab, maybe make a video teaching, but i need some kind of incentive pretty much other more than the great comments i receive since its alot of work.
