Not my typical Preparedness or Survival video, but I thought this would be fun to share. This is a Grumman OV1 Mohawk. The Mohawk was commissioned in 1959 and decommissioned in 1996. It was used my the US Army and Marines and eventually the US Army National Guard. It flew missions in Vietnam as well as Desert Storm. Designed primarily for Recon and surveillance the Mohawk also was used to some light close air support at times.

If you are using Google Maps, you can f ind this by simply putting "airplane graveyard" in the search bar. - I recently located something at this site that cracked me up. A creative worker somehow wrote the words "HI MOM" in the dirt. See if you can find this when you go to Google Earth or Google Maps! I used Google Earth and simply shot my monitor with a Casio EX-F1 camera on a tripod. If you would like to find this location on Google Earth, just find Tucson, AZ and locate a large runway south of it, and you will be close. This video is a tribute to the personel who flew these planes to protect freedom. I imagine the pilots who flew these have a very hard time seeing their planes in the Boneyard today. To those nations who are unfriendly towards the United States, behold what we consider junk and try to imagine what we keep in service. Most nations in the world would love to have even a fraction of these aircraft, numbering over 4000 by some estimates.
