An explanation of what you are about to see. I am diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum and I process geometric images (in this instance letters) in a really interesting way. I was reading something about mirror writing on a forum and made this video as a quick demo. It's not great quality I am afraid, I just grabbed a flip cam and scribbled. I chose my name because I can be dyslexic this late in the evening and my name is a pattern I am familiar with. While I do also have dyspraxia in some areas of my life and find it hard to mirror people instructing me, the last section is worth waiting for if you don't believe it is possible to be ambidextrous. This training of the left hand helps to create neural activity in the right hemisphere of the brain. Not only is the motor strip in the frontal lobe of the right hemisphere activated, but the occipital lobe on the right hemisphere is active too. This mirror writing style was also used by Leonardo Da Vinci. He wrote in Italian script instead of cursive writing which came later on in history. You can read about these concepts in the book Whole Brain Power written by Michael J. Lavery It is this this type of brain training that helps with reaching a level of ambidexterity that helps with guitar playing.
A unique, creative just-for-fun "skill" I discovered around age twelve. I can write forwards and backwards with both my left and right hand at the same time.
