Powermat Review - Wireless Charging. ( MobilityMinded)

www.mobilityminded.com The Powermat will allow you to charge 3 different devices wirelessly and one extra device by using the integrated USB port. The Powercube comes with 8 possible connector tips which will allow you to charge nearly all mobile devices on the market. Some specific products from Powermat will allow you to charge specific devices with ease. These specific products are: BlackBerry Battery Doors, Apple Cases and Docks, Nitendo DS Back Panels and of course the Universal Powercube receiver. In the video below I will show you the following products: Powermat Home & Office Mat ( $99.99) Powermat Portable Mat ($99.99) Receiver-Dock for iPod and iPhone ($39.99) Receiver-Case for iPhone ($39.99) Powercube Universal Receiver ($29.99) Items also available but are not shown in the video are: BlackBerry Battery Door ($29.99) BlackBerry Tour, Bold, Curve 8300, Curve 8900 and Pearl Receiver-Back for Nitendo DS ($29.99) Nitendo DS Lite and Nitendo DSi Conclusion: Using the Powermat system is a good step into the future. At my home desk the Powermat is a great solution to charge three devices with ease. I highly recommend it. It would be great if the Portable Powermat would be smaller and thinner. The Travel Case with everything into it is still more volume in my very limited cargo travel space. A simple small usb hub build into the plugs and 2-3 individual usb charging cables will save much more space in my luggage. I think this technology will grow and will become a ...

Verizon Motorola Droid Pro UnBoxing Review (MobilityMinded.com)

www.mobilityminded.com Verizon and Motorola are bringing you again another Droid Google Android phone. This time it is the Motorola Droid Pro. This Droid compared to the other has a smaller screen and has a Blackberry style keyboard on the bottom of the device. The Motorola Droid Pro is a candy bar style phone which feels very well in the palm of your hands. The physical keyboard feels a little bit squished on the device since the device is slimmer compared to other similar style devices as the Blackberries and the older Motorola Q9 series. But with a little bit of practice you should be able to get the hang of it. Especially since there is no on-screen keyboard on this device.

Verizon HTC Thunderbolt 4G LTE Unboxing (MobilityMinded.com)

www.mobilityminded.com Verizon's LTE network gives us the first LTE mobile phone the HTC Thunderbolt. The form factor is similar to the HTC Evo 4G from Sprint and the HTC Inspire 4G from AT&T. But the specifications of the HTC ThunderBolt beats the others. The HTC ThunderBolt from Verizon will give you the LTE speeds if you are in and LTE covered area, if not you will be falling back on the huge 3G network from Verizon. I am one of those that is stuck between Boston and New York and my experiences are on the 3G Network instead. However next week I will be travelling to NY City and will get back with my experiences over the LTE network.

HTC ThunderBolt Extended Battery is Needed (MobilityMinded.com)

www.mobilityminded.com I did review the Verizon HTC Thunderbolt last week. During this week I have been using this first LTE device from Verizon and did notice a quick power consumption on this device. There are many other reports from users and reviewers having the same problem. LTE is not widely available yet, but the huge power consumption seems to be affecting users in the non-LTE covered area as well as in the LTE covered area. The HTC ThunderBolt has no settings for turning of the LTE signal on the device to see if this is the cause of the battery drainage.

HTC Evo Shift 4G unBoxing (MobilityMinded.com)

We were lucky enough to get our hands on the HTC Evo Shift 4G from Sprint for a very short period. The Shift is the successor of the HTC Evo also from Sprint. The big difference besides running on a newer version of the Android Fryo 2.2 is the Slide Out keyboard. The HTC Evo Shift 4G has an 800 Mhz processor and with the 4G connectivity on the Sprint's network this device will be very fast and functional. The QWERTY Slide out keyboard gives consumers now the option to choose this device over the HTC Evo 4G. Many consumers still prefer the keyboard to be part of the hardware over the on-screen keyboards.
