On Oct. 13/09 Digging Roots played at the MOD Club in Toronto at the release party for their new CD, We Are I first saw them at the Luminato concert in Toronto and they blew me away. I love their style and their music tells important stories. ShoShona Kish the female vocalist sings with a passion that is contagious in a style reminiscent of Janice Joplin. Raven Kanatakta the lead guitarist is exceptional and his singing style is compelling to say the least. I produced 6 videos from the evening and had a terrific time doing them.
