Suwako Moriya (I love saying her name) is the ex-boss of the game Mountain of Faith, the 10th installment of the Touhou Project. The Touhou Project is a series of danmaku shooters. Danmaku is a term than can be loosely translated (and quite aptly in my opinion) into "curtain of fire" or "bullet hell", thus denoting game were high density in bullet is more important that a lot of enemies. The series was created and is managed by the one man team Team Shanghai Alice, composed only of ZUN. In my opinion, Suwako is probably one of the easiest, if not THE easiest, Ex-boss in the series, falling miles behind the likes of Flandre Scarlet, Fujiwara no Mokou, and Ran/Yukari Yakumo. Nonetheless, she still holds the title of Ex-boss, so she is not force to take slightly. Personally, I think the fight has the right amount of difficulty: difficult and enjoyable, but not hair tearing frustrating like some other people *glares discretely at Mokou* More info about the Touhou series can be found in this wiki page: touhou.wikia.com

The Touhou project is a series of danmaku shooter made by the male version of Aya, ZUN. THEY WEAR THE SAME CLOTHING FOR ZUN'S SAKE. Everything in my Lunatic Faith run was going sunshine and lollipops and rainbows and everything that's wonderful until the infamous Aya made her sudden, albeit predictable appearance. Aya is a crow tengu that lives in the Youkai Mountain along with her tengu friends (if she has any) and whanot. She runs the yellow and sensationalist newspaper, Bunbunmaru. Even if she's infuriating, both in personality and in game, Aya is one of my favorite characters. I guess that what I like about her is her arrogant and snobbish personality. She's extremely sure of herself and with a strong conviction does her duty. Also, I like something about Touhou characters with a relatively modern design, like Reisen and Aya (Aya wears what can be best described as a button shirt and a mini skirt) Unfortunately, Aya is probably one of the loneliest, most disliked characters in Gensokyo. Kanako Yasaka is the Final Boss of the game Mountain of Faith, the 10th installment of the Touhou Project. The Touhou Project is series of danmaku shooters where everything is out to kill you, be it a killer maid, a killer rabbit, a killer god, or a killer tissue. The creator of this logic defying wonderland? No other than Jun'ya Ota... I think. I once commented on how Kanako is mostly talk and how she acts godlike for no apparent reason. Well, Ice Rain wasn't/weren't the only one(s) thinking the same. "SWEET and GENTLE" by GP KIDS is a ReimuxSanae doujin (don't worry, is only "x" in a platonic way since Reimu is a kid, mostly) Point is, in the doujin, when Sanae calls Kanako, Reimu first thoughts? "You just HAD to go out of your way to be awe-inspiring." So yeah...There's also another doujin called "Though the wind cries" by Iyokan. This one is slightly more NSFW due to 1 or 2 pages. However, it is an interesting take on Kanako and Suwako past (with emphasis on Suwako). It also shows more of Kanako's Magnificent B**** status. Always good to look at Gensokyo with a serious light. I imagine Kanako as one of the most formidable looking characters in Gensokyo, despite being all talk. She stands up there as one of the tallest characters in the series, with very <b>...</b>

The Touhou Project is a series of danmaku hell shooter where little cute demons battle against little cute humans in a fight for whatever whimsical matter they can think of, ranging from having parties to capturing the flag. Only one man could think of so much insanity in so little space: ZUN. In my first video against Sanae I said she was like Jesus. However, when UFO came out her title as "Touhou Jesus" was taken away, renamed "Youkai Jesus" and given to Byakuren. However, in my mind she still fights like Jesus or at least how he would fight was he in a danmaku battle. As such, my favorite media showing Sanae fighting isn't MoF, SA, UFO, or UNL. Is a video on Youtube titled "Mountain of Faith OP." The part of the video that shows Marisa fighting Aya, and Reimu fighting Nitori then Sanae are some of the most amazing low budget animated fights I had ever seen. First of all, that's exactly how I imagine a fight against Marisa/Youmu and Aya would go like. The Touhou Project is a series of danmaku shooters full with loli girls attacking each other unto oblivion with a maelstrom of non-deadly infernal bullets possessing psychedelic colors and beautiful patterns of deadly might (only that not really). So who is this godly figure that threatens to engulf us all? Kanako Yasaka is a relatively easy stage 6 boss in my humble opinion. There is a doujin out there ("Froggy's Missionary Journey" by the circle Ice Rain) where Kanako, after interrupting a battle between Suwako (Frog goddess) and Remilia (Loli devil) and being told by Froggy to, practically, screw off and leave, she leaves. How? She calls back her Faith Pillars in a godly manner that holds no apparent reason of being. Entertaining read, I recommend it. So why do I bring this up. Because I picture Kanako as a goddess that, while holding a certain degree of power since she defeated Suwako who knows how many millenniums ago, is mostly all talk. She comes to Gensokyo to gather faith.... and partially fails. She tries to initiate an Industrial Revolution... and completely fails (though she gave us Utsuho, so is all okay... sort <b>...</b>

Ultra Mode is a patch that you can apply to the game. What it basically does is double the amount of bullets, double their speed, both, or something else. This makes for a fun challenge most of the time and sort of gives you a difficulty above lunatic. There are patches for all the Windows games and they can be downloaded here: cheater.seesaa.net (Unzip the thxxu.zip in the game folder and patch the Japanese thxx.exe). Yes, the patch gives you autobombs. The main difficulty with this game on Ultra is making sure you have enough resources to face the final spell card, which is basically guaranteed to take away three lives.
