Molecular Biology Visualization of DNA

www.FreeScienceLectures.com First the DNA Wrapping is animated. The wrapping allows 6 feet of the long DNA molecule to be densely packed into the tiny nucleus of every cell. The process starts when DNA is wrapped around special protein molecules called histones. The combined loop of DNA and protein is called a nuclei zone. Next the nuclei zones are packed into a thread. The end result is fiber known as chromatin. This fiber is looped and coiled yet again leading to the familiar shapes known as chromosomes which can be seen in the nucleus of dividing cells. Chromosomes are not always present - they form around the time cells divide when the two copies of the cell's DNA need to be separated. Using computer animation based on molecular research we are now able to see how DNA is actually copied in living cells. An assembly line of amazing biochemical machines are pulling apart the DNA double helix and cranking out a copy of each strand. Out Of Sight - From Quarks To Molecules

www.facebook.com ... Complexity (Chapter 3): From Quarks To Molecules --- Please SUBSCRIBE to Science & Reason: • www.youtube.com • www.youtube.com • www.youtube.com --- QUARKS-NEUCLEONS There are two kinds of quarks (physicists call them flavors of quarks) that are found in normal matter These quarks are the UP quark and the DOWN quark. A proton is formed from two up quarks and one down quark while its slightly heavier cousin, the neutron, is formed from two down quarks and one up quark. The red, green, and blue colors of the quarks represent a property that attracts them to one another ... it is this color-charge property of the quarks that holds them together in a proton or neutron. NUCLEUS These protons and neutrons can then combine to form the nucleus of each element in the periodic table. One proton in the nucleus makes hydrogen, two form helium, 6 carbon, 8 oxygen, 79 is gold and 92 uranium. Neutrons help hold the protons together. Because of their electric charge, protons would repel each other more strongly if neutrons were not present, and the heavier elements would come apart. There are approximately as many neutrons in each element as there are protons. ELECTRON SHELLS Atoms are formed when the positively charged protons in the nucleus capture negative electrons. Neutral atoms have captured one negative electron for each positive proton in the nucleus. So Hydrogen has one electron to go with its one proton, Helium two electrons, Carbon has 6, Oxygen 8, Gold ...

DMT - The Spirit Molecule

Dimethyltryptamine (DMT), also known as N,N-dimethyltryptamine, is a naturally-occurring tryptamine and potent psychedelic drug, found not only in many plants, but also in trace amounts in the human body where its natural function is undetermined. Structurally, it is analogous to the neurotransmitter serotonin and other psychedelic tryptamines such as 5-MeO-DMT and 4-HO-DMT. DMT is created in small amounts by the human body during normal metabolism by the enzyme tryptamine-N-methyltransferase. Many cultures, indigenous and modern, ingest DMT as a psychedelic in extracted or synthesized forms. Pure DMT at room temperature is a clear or white to yellowish-red crystalline solid. DMT was first chemically synthesized in 1931. Inhaled: If DMT is smoked, the maximal effects last for a short period of time (5 to 30 minutes, dose-dependent). The onset after inhalation is very fast (less than 45 seconds) and maximal effects are reached within about a minute. In the 1960s, some reportedly referred to DMT as "The businessman's trip" due to the relatively short duration of vaporized, insufflated, or injected DMT. Smoking DMT is extremely difficult due to the overwhelming harshness of the smoke produced. Many users cough the smoke thus wasting the drug vaporized. The taste and smell of the smoke is reminiscent of burning plastic or mothballs. Insufflation: When DMT is insufflated (snorted through the nostrils) the duration is markedly increased, and some users report diminished ...

How Molecular Magnetism Works? What is the scientific fact behind Molecular Magnetism?

Structure of electron: Electron has a standing- electric field and magnetic field in right angle regardless of any kind of its motions and act as a tiny bar magnet with a negative charge (watch video Structure of electron). In an atom, the electric fields of its electrons will be directed to the nucleus and magnetic fields will be horizontal to the nucleus. (watch video Structure of atom) Arrangement of electrons in a molecular magnet: If the magnetic fields of two or more electrons in the atoms of a molecule are parallel, then that molecule becomes magnetic. Normally, the magnetic fields of electrons in atoms cancel each other and appear an atom cluster as non-magnetic. But in some molecules, because of the some special type of bonding between its atoms, the magnetic fields of two or more electrons in the molecule become parallel and these types of molecules exhibit molecular magnetism. The field strength of a molecular magnet is determined by how many electrons magnetic fields are parallel in the molecule. As the number of parallel magnetic fields is increases, the molecule becomes more magnetic. Making of a molecule with the atoms in the molecule in such a way that its more magnetic fields are in parallel, we can create super magnetic molecules. Impact of the discovery and applications: One of the most pressing technology needs today is to find more efficient ways to store and process digital information. By understanding the real fact behind molecular magnetism, we ...

The tell-tale signature of the molecule methane in the atmosphere of the Jupiter-sized extrasolar planet HD 189733b has been found with the Hubble Space Telescope. Under the right circumstances methane can play a key role in prebiotic chemistry -- the chemical reactions considered necessary to form life as we know it. Although methane has been detected on most of the planets in our Solar System, this is the first time any organic molecule has been detected on a world orbiting another star. Dr. Masaru Emoto's Water Molecule Experiments

Dr. Masaru Emoto's Water Molecule Experiment Most people first heard of Dr. Emoto in 2004 when the hit movie What The Bleep Do We Know? was released. In the documentary-style film, Dr. Emoto's findings on the energy of thoughts are demonstrated. His central premise put forward is that human beings can affect the shape and molecular structure of water just through conscious intention. He demonstrates this in two ways: first by showing images of water molecules from the Fujiwara Dam, before and after they have been blessed by a monk. He then shows the impact of labeling bottles of distilled water with thoughts. Some bottles feature positive thoughts, while others feature negative ones. He then freezes contents from each bottle and photographs them at sub zero temperatures using a high powered microscopic camera. The resulting shape, color and structure of the water crystals shows marked variation. Water from bottles that were labeled with positive messages have intricate structures and shiny, diamond-like reflective qualities. Those that were labeled with negative thoughts have deformed, collapsed structures with black holes and yellow tinged edges.

DMT - The Spirit Molecule 2

Dr. Rick Strassman (born 1952 in Los Angeles, California, United States) is a medical doctor specialized in psychiatry with a fellowship in clinical psychopharmacology research. Dr. Strassman was the first person in the United States after twenty years of intermission to embark in human research with psychedelic, hallucinogenic, or entheogenic substances. During the intermission period, research was restricted by law to animals studies only. Dr. Strassman's studies investigated the effects of N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT), a powerful entheogen, or psychedelic, that he theorizes is produced by the human brain in the pineal gland. DMT is found naturally in various natural sources, and is closely related to human neurotransmitters such as serotonin and melatonin, which helped create the basis of this theory. During the project's five years, he administered approximately 400 doses of DMT to 60 human volunteers. This research took place at the University of New Mexico's School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he was tenured Associate Professor of Psychiatry. Dr. Strassman has conjectured that when a person is approaching death, the pineal gland releases DMT, accounting for much of the imagery reported by survivors of near-death experiences. He wrote about the research program in his book DMT: The Spirit Molecule, and a documentary movie based on this book is currently in production. Dr. Strassman has also conducted similar research using psilocybin, a psychedelic ...

Noah And The Whale - 2 Atoms In A Molecule - WITH LYRICS!

Last night, I had a dream We were inseparably entwined Like a piece of rope made out of two pieces of vine Held together, holding each other With no one else in mind Like two atoms in a molecule Inseparably combined But then I woke from the dream To realise I was alone A tragic event, I must admit But let's not be overblown I'm not trying to write a love song Just a sad, pathetic moan And maybe I just need change Maybe I just need a new cologne But now I look at love Like being stabbed in the heart You torture each other from day to day And then one day you part Most of the time it's misery But there's some joy at the start And for that, I'd say it's worth it Just as you play the shortest sharp on me And if love is just a game Then how come it's no fun? If love is just a game How come I've never won? I guess maybe it's possible I might be playing it wrong And that's why every time I roll the dice I always come undone.
