Late last night for us in the US, Nintendo held their pre-TGS press conference to showcase their new software lineup for the Nintendo 3DS. . As expect, they announced Monster Hunter 4. The latest game in the popular franchise from Capcom will launch on the 3DS. It wasn't clear if the game will be a 3DS exclusive but considering how popular the game is in Japan it could push a lot of sales for the hardware if not available on other platforms. . Nintendo already has Monster Hunter 3G scheduled to launch in Japan on December 10th. It was also confirmed that the game will launch with the second analog stick peripheral being referred to as the SlidePad, which will cost around $20. . The hardware will be compatible with a number of other franchises as well including Resident Evil, Kingdom Hearts, and Metal Gear Solid. Not much is known about the story of the new game but just the announcement is a step in the right direction for Nintendo, who is struggling with consumer confidence on the 3DS. . Below are my notes and highlights from the show. *Kwing's notes on the 3DS Tokyo Event* Mario Tennis 3DS! Was a surprise announcement and nobody saw this game coming. Gameplay in the trailer looked more like the classic N64 game, then say Mario Power Tennis. Paper Mario 3D, has been given a release date of Q2 or Q3 2012 in Japan. Personally this game looks really cool and it looks to continue the classic Paper Mario traditions. Luigi's mansion 2! Also coming out in 2012 sometime. The loveable clumsy plumber returns, for my goofy ghost busting action! This is on the top of my must buy lists. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic games....great another game. Kid Icarus Uprising...delayed AGAIN!!!! Though now Pit will face an evil mirror of himself..i think. Dark Link anyone? Also Pit will be able to use a variety of weapons, from Shotguns, Bows, Swords and more. Game is expected in Jan 2012 or Fed in Japan. No US or Europe release date of yet. Animal Crossing 3DS. Its ANIMALS in 3D for the Nintendo 3DS. Fans of the decade old franchise will be able to swim with friends and have a pet too. Girls Mode...i think Japan only, a Fashion game by Nintendo. Now that you're able to move take the exit in back of you (Unless you're "Bowgunning", if you are then feel free to attempt to shoot off Lao Shan's back plates), as you may have already noticed, you're in the Fortress area. Small, confined, and easily confusing at times with it's many entrances/exits. You'll see a pile of what looks like spears, your bed, and of course, the supply box. Doesn't exactly sound fun now does it? Well it's not.. I could understand why this quest may give some people trouble, I mean fighting Diablos? Honestly, who enjoys doing that? Not me anyways. I strongly suggest using Poison Battlaxe for this quest, if you've not made that weapon then what is wrong with you? It's so simple to make and it's extremely useful throughout the beginning stages of Monster Hunter Freedom. Grab whatever you need from the Supply Box and get ready for an intense quest! You'll want to take out the Diablos in area 10 first, if you were to leave him alone and target him the desert, there is a chance that he may decide to show up, which means fighting two of them at the same time, and I guarantee that is NOT something you want to do. You'll always want to target one leg and stick to it. That way you increase the odds of him tripping, making the tail easier to remove. I made a few mistakes, be sure to take advantage of that <b>...</b>

www.capcom-unity.com Register and join please!(: Poke poke poke! Yeah! Not so fun.. As you can see, the first 2 minutes or so is just me poking at him until he exits area 4 and heads to area 5. Of course be sure to use caution while escaping his tail when trying to back to camp from area 4. Now, if you've not gathered Ballistas, I suggest you do it now. Or, if you'd like to give the Cannon S a try, feel free to gather one from the cannon ball looking pile and stand near the cannon in area 5. While in area 5, you'll notice 3 objects: A Cannon looking barrel gun A bowgun grafted into the floor and in the middle, a giant Wyvern iconed button You'll want to not mess with that button just yet, it's known as the "Dragonator" and launches several spikes forward to penetrate any invading monsters. I won't be using the cannon nor the Dragonator since aiming with the Ballista gun isn't too great on this game and because I don't really care for the Dragonator. To be honest, I'm not even sure I shot Lao, I never am. When you see his head appear through the mist, I suggest you start unloading those 10x Ballista S After doing so, jump your butt down there and get ready for to hopefully down him. Now, he may ram the Fortress wall, if he does so that's 10% - off of the Fortress Intergrity (which starts at 100%) what happens when it depletes to 0? You fail the quest, so I hope you slay him here. Well well, let's see what happens in the next video shall we?

Can't wait to fight him alone in village quest. Equipment worn was trumpeco hunting horn with full peco gear and +5 wide-range charm. Skills active were Recovery up (体力回復量UP), Wide-range +2 (広域化+2), and Horn (笛名人).

As stated this is my first commentary vid, so feedback is encouraged. I talk a little bit about the game as a whole, miss a lot of stuff but there's always more. This is the DL quest for the... something hammer... mainly just for looks. You cannot use any armor or charms in this quest and it IS a high rank Jinouga, making it that much more interesting.
