What happens after 10 inches of rain in a community? They Unite! Moree was hit with major flooding on Sunday the 27th of November after receiving nearly half our annual rainfall in just 3 days. This is a short video I filmed -together with the help of my boyfriend and dogs Paris and Pluto. Our condolences for anyone effected by the flooding. The video was shot with a Z1P and edited using Final Cut Pro.

On Friday the 3rd of February 2012 the township of Moree was hit again with major flooding. Having barely recovered from the last flood in November 2011, the community was hit even harder with water levels peaking at 10.68m. This video is my journey through the floodwater and the many people whom which I encountered along the way. Local business people, farmers and families have lost millions of dollars and the cleanup has only just begun. This film has some extended footage of Friday and Saturday in Greenbah Region. I could not get out of the area as the roads were cut to town. The wonderful community here is why we live in Moree.
