Short little video to show what Active Breaking does. I just wired this up quickly to try it out so I wasn't going for neatness. As you can see, on Semi your piston does not always stop in the forward position. Active breaking pretty much makes your motor stop itself as soon as you let go of the trigger and there is no more current going to the motor. This makes for a clean shot on Semi, leaving the piston all the way forward after each shot.

here's the schematic many asking for, work as inductor as well; what was surprised me most - the higher load (amperage) the less transistors overheating; in this setup they're just cold
this is a really good amp. hopefully this review will show you as much as i hope it will. i recorded using a shure 58 vocal mic through an interface and into garageband i didn't really have time to get everything i wanted into this video, but i want to reiterate how much i love this amp. for the cost, it's the best solid state amp ever made by marshall. hope you enjoy.

It is now doing 32rps, and I really will be keeping it at this RoF for some time. I didn't specifically intend to increase the RoF, but it just so happens MOSFETs do increase R's of F by up to 30%. Consequently, my gun now has a 1J spring in to stop the piston ripping itself up, and is STILL faster than it was before with the M90!

It took a while, but here's my demo of the Fulltone Fulldrive 2 overdrive pedal. The FullDrive 2 features three distinct overdrive modes; Vintage, Flat Mids, and CompCut. Additionally, there is a second switch for Boost, which gives the overdrive circuit a little extra push. Gear used: Gibson Explorer, Peavey Wolfgang Standard, Fender Telecaster, Fender Hot Rod Deville, Marshall TSL60 w/ Randall R212CB cabinet, Crate Palomino V16 combo. Everything recorded into a Sennheiser e609 with no added effects/compression.

Arduino controlling a h-bridge with PWM at about 4kHz. Two digital outputs and one PWM output are used. The h-bridge is using NAND gates to prevent high-side and low-side to short circuit the power supply. The NAND gates also mix in the PWM-signal to the high-side FETs. The h-bridge is running of 12V from an old PC-supply, and I use an extra 9V battery to drive the high-side FETs. I'm using one small FET for driving the high side FETs on each side. On the oscilloscope you can se the voltage for the motor is switching from negative to positive, and how the pulse width is affecting the speed of the motor. I designed the h-bridge using LTspice. The circuit consist of 10 resistors, 4 power MOSFETs, 2 small MOSFETs, 6 diodes, 8 NAND gates (Two 4011). For the 5V power to the 4011 I use a 7805 and two capasitors. The reason for the design is to not use P-Channel MOSFETs. On the Arduino i used a 100kOhm pot connected to +5V, an analog input and GND. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU OVERVOLTAGE A POWER MOSFET! The question, is how many did I destroy before I figured this out? Originally I thought it was because there was no load attached, but upon further investigation I noticed a HUGE short in my power supply!!! Instead of 65 Volts it was putting out 120 Volts! And that's why all my stuff kept blowing up. So for future reference, always make sure your power supply is working before hooking up a circuit that you spent a month designing! -cheers

By touching the "Gate" and the "Drain" pins of the transistor the bulb turns on, and by touching the "Gate" and the "Source" pins the bulb is turned off. 26 Volt bulb was used and a 12 Volt DC power source. Red cable is (+) positive, black cable is (-) negative.
